But also in the scope of our physics: What would an object be that is too heavy to "lift" for anyone and anything? It would be the heaviest object in the universe. So what will happen with the heaviest object in the universe? It would be the main center of gravity for everything else. In the same way you cannot "lift" the earth, but rather lift yourself from it as your force will just propel you away from the earth rather than the earth away from you, while you are inside the area dominated by earths gravitational field.
Nothing tells them to listen to your damands like just giving them more if they do the opposite of your demands.

All that voting Blue did in the past two decades was kicking the can down the road, while blocking aerious efforts to form a political power willing to bring the can back up the road.
Trump isn't an anomaly. Trump is the symptom of a broken system that was deliberately broken further and further with bipartisan support. And we still see the Democrats staying at breaking things further and helping Trump instead of forming a proper opposition.
They still rather fight progressives like AOC and Sanders than fighting Trump.
People were very outspoken about the whole supporting genocide thing. The party made sure to shut them out. People were also very outspoken about Biden being too senile to run again and the party instead gaslighted everyone with claiming that pointing out the most evident and obvious truth would in fact be a malicious scheme to help Trump. Only when it became impossible to lie about it for them, they quickly switched Harris in.
And when people pointed at the party loosing to Trump again, they came up with all sorts of reasonings including hating on the minorities that felt betrayed by the party for not being blindly loyal to them.
And now we are seeing them still supporting Trump in various ways and fighting teeth and nails to keep any progressives out of power in the party.
As long as you say you are willing to vote for them, they will not listen. They take your vote for granted and they rather help to turn the US into full fascism than listen to normal folks who don't want their life to become worse and worse every year to make some billionaires richer.
I think learning all abbreviations for different months in different languages is more complicated than just learning that the time is sorted from largest to smallest unit.
The fediverse is much more than just lemmy. That being said i also disagree for lemmy. Drama between mods and communities was a regular thing on reddit. Still reddit managed to grow quite big before the bots took over. And companies are in no way more accountable to the users. Look at what happened with twitter under Musk. The only realistic choice you have as a normal user is to leave. And in the fediverse leaving a shitty instance still allows you to connect with all the other content from a different instance.
I am asking because i know crawler robots exist and are in use since at least a few yearse. The more interesting aspect imo. is the automated image recognition which made huge improvements over the past years. For that it makes sense to have the analysis centralized within reason. E.g. pattern recognition against a larger database. There is local factors too though as materials, construction forms and so on often have historic local differences.
I fail to see, why the wheel needed to be reinvented into flying here.
I would love to see the US go a month without Mexican truck drivers. The UK pulled the same stunt with Polish truck drivers. People were rejoicing at empty shelves and overflowing garbage bins.
