Properly mounting a NAS so file pickers in programs don't shit themselves or refuse to see it. There's no GUI feature even in KDE for this task. Should not be like this modern day. Mounting anything properly is annoying here.
Oh man, looks like I have a bunch of googling ahead of me.
//I tried it with my SO’s android and it worked flawlessly so it’s an iOS issue :/
I’d appreciate some help from the Linux folks. I’ve used Unified Remote with my living room PC for years and years. I was told that KDE Connect was a drop in replacement but the remote input has a 1-2 second delay from touching my phone screen to the cursor moving. Any way to correct that?
iPhone and Bazzite for context. It also did it with regular Fedora. I imagine it has to do with iOS but I looked up the issue and I haven’t seen a real solution.
I apologize. I was looking to just say that some light handed editing can offset the lighting. My kitchen lighting makes my photos look worse than what it looks like in person.
This isn’t the same. A political party operating in its own self interests versus the opposing political party putting it to a vote to offset the damage.
Cancer kills cells. Chemotherapy kills cells. Wow, the same thing.
There’s amazing and terrible manuals everywhere. One of the key things is defining target audience. From there you define experience and knowledge.
If a manual is intended to be for a broad audience interacting with something new, then you use the lowest level reading level that still makes your point. From there you work on flow because there’s a 1000 ways to skin a cat.
If LEGO manuals were only written step by step instructions, at a college reading level, then they miss a key demographic. Yet, people would still walk around like “That’s a perfectly cromulent instruction manual!” Technically they would be correct but it misses the point.
Reject the shareholder Internet, that’s never what we enjoyed about the Internet anyways.
