  • Candy canes for my house again. They remain cheap. You just have to wait for this stuff to sell and they put out the Christmas stuff.

  • It's generic copy paste crap. It could apply to almost anyone in almost any disagreement. It reminds me of reading Google reviews for retail stores, where they rant forever about how rude someone was but never provide a single example of what was actually wrong.

  • I wonder how many of them will vote to void the constitution.

  • Never!

  • I wish I could keep my dreams alive for $12.

  • Yes I think he knows. It's the logical fallacy of the 'deep state' thing. Even with Republicans in charge of every branch of government, there is still a mysterious 'deep state' to blame everything on.

Also once again it falls into 'every accusation is a confession.' It de-legitimizes the argument when Democrats say the exact opposite thing (Republicans owning the legal system).

  • He added, “We must stop clutching our principles and shouting “stop.” They own the legal system. That will achieve nothing. We need action. Disproportionate. Violent. Action."

    Dude.

  • It was called the Chaplin before Hitler grew one. Hitler grew it to help soften his public image. He was known to be a big fan of American movies. And had them imported during WWII for private screenings, even though it was illegal in the rest of Nazi Germany.

  • Or an update failing and re-trying over and over? Just a guess.

  • Seems extreme if it's giving a kid breathing problems. Maybe online poo spray needs some sort of regulations? I blame the poo spray for being too strong just as much as I blame this guy for using it.

  • What's to even track that could use that much data? Audio alone seems like it would be less data.

  • There's no way he types like that in direct messages? Right?

  • Why not Kimmel or Colbert? They seem like they'll be available.

  • Trump feuding with a history museum. You'd think that would sound the 'fascist' alarm to his supporters, but seems like nothing will.

  • Literally.

  • Han Solo is a reluctant hero. Not an anti-hero.

Hud (1963) is an anti-hero. He defies traditional morality. He's almost heroic-ish in the way he defies others, and is willing to do things his own way. But the film is constantly showing other people, who have strong values, and how Hud often does the opposite. Despite being a horrible person, he's not really 'the villain' either.

EDIT: Rick from Rick and Morty is an anti-hero.

  • I'd say when you move out, more or less, probably a bit after. So I'll say 21 years old. Maybe 25 for many, especially if they still live at home. But once they're out of the house they need to be more independent.

I'm 35 and I haven't felt 'parented' by my own parents since about 20, but every girl I've ever dated has had a closer relationship with their parents than I've had. The only thing I can tell you is that it's VERY common for girls in their 30's to still be talking to their parents 4x a week. I try to call home once every 2 weeks or so, which is apparently very distant compared to most families I know of.

  • That's an easy way to kill a cat. Make sure you have a proper lid on the tank so it won't happen again.

  • Yikes. Imagine if he could sue for that.

  • I don't understand. Congress is supposed to decide how we spend money and how much we tax. Why is the president doing those things?
