Hello thanks for visiting my profile.

For any picture posts I make with the [OC] tag, I provide a license for you to use my photo under the terms of CC-BY-SA-4.0. You may DM me for questions.

  • His motorcade was coming right for us!!! Is that weed I smell coming from the vehicle?

  • This is Microsoft showing a little desperation to keep Europe from moving onto fully European cloud solutions, by integrating European solutions into Microsoft products.

I think firms can still, for now, use Mistral independent of Microsoft, but this does put into question if Microsoft may further reduce Mistral's independence or buy it out eventually once the attention is off them.

Government bodies in EU should keep pursuing tech stacks independent of Apple, Google and Microsoft and not let this lead them astray.

  • Well the Trump administration should keep whining about it. Really they're just helping to increase its popularity, since they consider their incompetent selves as the alternative to it.

  • Don't worry about the explosive diarrhea!

  • I didn't like that the US and Canadian broadcasts always had to pan to the corrupt stooge Infantino a couple times every game, during play, but I did like that I could hear the stadium crowd or my local watch party crowd boo each time.

  • the photographer had asked an AI platform to make the picture “look better”

  • Yes, the Flock system is working correctly, as a tool for police to stalk and harass innocent people.

  • Please, DNC! Be officially pro-Jew, anti-Israel.

  • GKH is to me the second most important guy in the Linux world today next to LT, and he definitely deserves more credit for his efforts maintaining the kernel. Maybe Greg doesn't get as much press attention because he doesn't make as profound statments as Linus tends to.

  • In other words, Pete Hegseth introduces mandatory gender-affirming tests as part of servicemember health evaluations.

  • Lol it's the Inmate #P01135809 commemorative coin. The design seems inspired by that mugshot.

  • We should go back to the 8 frame wristwatch from the old Mac days. 🕛🕑🕒🕓🕕🕖🕘🕚 perhaps that will save resources.

  • Since you've tried both, you can ground yourself in realistic expectations when thinking about either lifestyle.

When someone fantasizes about something, usually they are only thinking about the nice parts of that experience. And conversely, once a person is used to their current life, the novelty wears off and people tend to take some things for granted, not realizing they're enjoying it until they don't have it anymore.

So my suggestion is: Think about both the positives and negatives of the road you aren't taking right now, then count the blessings of your current situation, then think about where you want to take yourself from there. Don't give up on figuring out what you want, but if you're getting what you think you want but still constantly yearning for something else, you should step back and evaluate things with just a bit more of a calm and rational mind.

  • "Crime" is your state's sole strength, apparently.

  • I think it's a neat theory, but unlike between the Mediterranean and Arabian, Malacca has many options: Singapore, Lombok, Ombai, around the top of Australia are all possible detours to get shipping through.

Nothing would suggest to me that the Indo-Pacific regional countries are looking to jettison UNCLOS just over yet another Middle East squabble. Of course the USA could make more stupid decisions on account of nothing, but we can cross that bridge when that happens. Blockading might be seen as an appropriate response if, say, China were to invade Taiwan or Philippines.

  • Whatever the USA's plan was, clearly isn't having the effect on China and the rest of the world they would have imagined. China's transition to electrotech let them ride out the shock without taking a bite from reserves, and the relative trickle of oil they would continue to need, they get at a discount from Russia anyway. Europe, too, is adapting and roughing it out. The lack of helium might be the biggest issue worldwide.

I'd sooner believe incompetence over malice here, that the reason the talks to open the Strait aren't progressing is because Trump needs his sycophants to brief him on the whole situtation multiple times a week. I imagine he's forgotten anything he had done in prior weeks.

  • Got me good there.

  • “It just seems now more than ever, if you’re brown, they’re gonna stop you,” said Mario Guerrero, a three-time Trump voter who leads the South Texas Builders Association. “And I know that sounds really racist, but it’s what we’re facing, man.”

The Supreme Court essentially signed off on a Trump immigration enforcement policy to assume speaking Spanish and looking brown is sufficient evidence to suspect someone is an illegal immigrant. It is about as openly racist as you can get.

I guess Mr. Guerrero doesn't like the bigotry now that he's on the receiving end of it?
