  • Yeah, usually the Lizard people select world leaders from different clutches of eggs to ensure maximum competition and division among the human nations under them. Due to a malfunction in one of the incubators, Nixon's egg hatched about seven years after Brezhnevs. During that time the same incubator hatched a separate clutch, among which Nixon was counted, which is why he was allowed to become the US president. Having not grown up together, they were still competitive, but little moments like the moon landing concession still occurred from time to time. Now that might sound unconvincing, but that's only because I'm not an actual conspiracy theorist. I don't have access to the deep lore and twisted logic therein.

    Don't get me wrong. I still haven't found a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than the GOP. It's more likely that Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Airbus, et. al. reminded then who's writing the checks to PACs.

    The Artemis program infrastructure is mostly stuff advanced by Obama and Biden era Congresses and Administrations.

  • Sometimes I think about how there's probably not life at this scale for very many light years in every direction.

    I'm not actually superstitious, but if I wrote a fantasy about this idea, it would be that The Garden of Eden was prophetic rather than historical or legendary/mythological. I really hope we don't get kicked out of Earth for eating all it's fruit and cast into a galaxy of relative hardship (or worse).

    Anyway, I'm going to go touch some grass, pet a dog, and feel gratitude for the experience.
