  • Gen Z. Too young to have experienced or lived through the Reagan era lies and the Bush lies along with the courting of right-wing fringe politics, from the religious wingnuts to the Tea Partiers. Let’s give conservatism another go! Surely it’ll work this time.

  • If someone says they got a second opinion from a physician known for being wrong half the time would you not wonder why they didn’t choose someone more reliable for something as important as their health? AI is notorious for providing incomplete, irrelevant, heavily slanted, or just plain wrong info. Why give it any level of trust to make national decisions? Might as well, I dunno…use a bible? Some would consider that trustworthy.

  • If alcohol is your treat, this is how alcoholism or alcohol abuse starts.

  • They just turn around and complain more about how much we import as being the problem, not the fact that trump’s tariffs are costing them. Not that sweeping, knee-jerk tariffs with absolutely no plan to increase US industries to compensate for supply issues is the real problem.

  • The republicans ride it into the ground and take us eith them.

  • If they were doing what my relative was doing - running the AC in one area yet leaving the windows open in another. Complained to me about the huge electric bill…I didn’t see the point in trying to explain why their behavior was driving that bill.

  • Well, when you tape the money to Israeli bombs and bullets for the delivery mechanism I think Gaza might be less enthusiastic about it.

  • Let’s say you didn’t know you were going to be well off. You paid into SS like everyone else. Later in life you find yourself worth a few millions for whatever reason, maybe a lifetime of good jobs work and wise investing. You don’t get any money back? Unfortunately a lot of people will call a few million after a lifetime of work and investing “rich.”

Now if you’re worth many tens or hundreds of millions or more, or you were born into wealth, maybe getting SS shouldn’t really be on the table.

  • Gotta vet the list to make sure it’s only the regime’s political enemies.

  • Ghislaine Handed DOJ 100 highly selective Names in Shameless Pardon Quid Pro Quo

  • There’s a difference between the ideological nihilism based on the desire to destroy those they disagree with in some selfish rush to be in some sky-fairy’s afterlife vs wanting a corrupt and greedy system to collapse so that it can hopefully be rebuilt with the best of intentions. They are not the same thing.

Absolutely the wealthy pocketbooks backing campaign money have a huge influence on candidates, and it would be no stretch at all to suspect they engaged in quid pro quo of funding suppression of investigation into the list.

  • “Doesn’t sit right with me?” Just say what you mean. Do you need it spelled out instead of posting some vague conspiratorial insinuation? We all know that Epstein’s clientele list was pushed to the back burner when dems were trying to hold on to their seats in a tight election. They know they have members on the list too. There absolutely were calls to dig into the Epstein connections because it would have put trump under even more pressure while out of office, but they were ignored because Dems chose self-protection instead of pursuing the list to bury trump in an effort to maintain their grip on seats they were desperate to not lose. Combined with a shamelessly spineless judiciary, and lackluster candidates, it cost them everything.

  • Like the “real” grail, it doesn’t exist. A mutual standard and compatibility between aftermarket automotive components. IOW, if I’m building a car, I’d want a third party automatic headlight system to work with the backlighting in the instruments, the wiper controller to work with a stock steering column switch, the air conditioning to work with any temperature sensor and thermostatic control at all…. Yeah. You need to be a programming expert and have the ability to design a controller to get all these proprietary systems to function coherently. But instead it’s cadging together systems and trying to not make it clunky and distracting.

Also, gaming: the grail would be for abandoned games that require online servers to play are turned over to the gamers. Run your own servers and mods. Licensing servers can be contracted out to third parties, so you can still buy the game and a royalty is paid to the original studio, but they don’t have to maintain it anymore.

  • Got one, really couldn’t find a use for it, let it go. If you have a gaming group to play with on E:D they’re far more useful for everyone to keep their ships on and engage in group objectives. I generally do exo, so having to maintain that beast while I was out in the black wasn’t worth it.

Good luck getting one, it’s still kinda thrilling to achieve that objective.

  • No wonder he’s a polished turd the right wing loves.

  • Are you applying it as a negative to libs? If so, then my reply stands. You created an argument via propter hoc… and it should be discarded. If you intended something different them you should reword your argument to something more substantial than “libs choose less sucky thing so they should like China.”

  • Your premise is that China is the lesser evil, therefore liberals should support China because (whatever reason you decided because liberals). Though I do appreciate you looking up the argument to understand it. It’s not a perfect analogy, but close enough.

  • Ergo propter hoc. Nice try though.

  • And profitably shitty.
