  • When the battery quits. I replaced the battery in my last phone myself, got an extra year and a half out of it, but then I f‘d up the camera and figured that was it. So…6-7 years? Went from a iphone X to a 16, and previously it was a 6, so 5+ years for that one. The recent replaced phones were traded in to knock a few $ off the purchase price, but previously phones were handed down to the kids to use. Still have a couple working 4s‘s around.

  • Yeah. They could. Group of protesters protesting ICE, someone throws an acorn that hits an ICE agent in the hollow head, they hear a “thock” sound and start shooting. Claim they feared for their lives because they can.

  • Did you just “everyone’s a little ADHD” me? For the record, I was only suggesting that this is something an ADHD person would understand very well without intending to imply that the OP was ADHD.

  • I don’t know why you’re downvoted. You’re essentially correct and this justification has been used by LEO on many occiasions. All they have to do is claim they felt or saw something that made them believe their life was in danger - even if that threat was them deliberately placing themselves in front of a vehicle and refusing to step aside when it was apparent the vehicle was headed toward them with plenty of warning at worst a shin bruising speed. This is how we get people shot who are unarmed, or already on the ground, or acorns hitting car roofs.

However, he’s not innocent. Not at all. It will be impossible to convict because the legal system is full of boot lickers or scared of the police, and trump toadies will intervene.

  • I bet they shipped that guy out of the state ASAP.

  • Adhd, pretty much.

  • Dumbest thing I’ve heard of. Resolution to keep the idiot from doing something he’s not allowed to do anyway. Like making a law to make crime illegal.

  • They also are multiracial and also have a long history of having LGBTQ guests. Stuff the (R) love to hate.

  • NorCal will just elect another like him. A shitload of boomer retirees moved to NorCal over the last decade +. The Sacramento/Northern California people made Rush Limbaugh popular, so I don’t think we’re going to see much of a change.

  • Let’s start with the press. Unwilling to call a spade a spade. Giving popularity to shitty candidates because shitty people generate more clicks. Manufacturing negative hypotheticals against otherwise normal people. JAQing off. Self preservation and revenue generation in place of the truth.

  • I really don’t know why you’re trying to argue with me. It’s not like I disagree. Feel free to soapbox all you want, I guess.

  • Yeah…my comment was obviously not intended to withstand legal scrutiny. You took it way too seriously. For the record - constitutionality is not a factor in restraining this president.

  • Having the authority is inversely proportional to the rest of the government having a spine.

They’re spineless, so he has the authority.

  • Sometimes my mom would do a cleanup, but then she’d find whatever and it would be gone. So it was a thorough “cleaning.” Didn’t happen much.

  • Did they get it wrong? Like Grindr being suddenly popular wherever the Republicans have a convention, maybe the ratio is far better for partner-seekers than it looks on the surface.

  • The terrorist suddenly pays the victim when their terrorist site is taken down.

  • Not close enough.
