  • I pretty much liked all of the Riddick series. I mean, I’m not looking for oscar-worthy performances here, but as far as an action film with some pretty cool worldbuilding? Heck yeah. Also, I’ve always wondered if those translucent predators were based on an old fantasy series by Barbara Hambly called the Darwath Trilogy in which incredibly similar predators emerge in the dark and kill. Never found a consensus as to whether the writers got any inspiration from those novels.

    Oh, and a 4th film, Furya is supposedly coming out in a year or so.

  • I’ve been using WU for probably 15 years. It’s been one of the most consistent weather sites and apps as far as decent quantity and quality of data. I had completely forgotten about the terrorist group with the same name. Now I’ll never be able to unsee it.
