  • There’s more than a few of these around. They start shit on otherwise seemingly normal posts for no reason, and often have a couple (friends? Alts?) to give them a couple upvotes to keep them afloat. IDK why they seem more prevalent lately and they’re only there to be dicks and not actually engage.

  • Because…

    as usual

It’s finally affecting them personally. Gas and diesel prices are rising. Wait until food starts to go higher again.

  • Just 3 down from this post in my feed.

  • Let’s start with Faux News. Seems to be that they’re a revolving door for employment with the administration.

  • What could he reassure them with? Absolutely none of his actions or the furtherance of those actions could benefit the US. None.

  • I think we need less Springsteen and more Springfield.

  • He’s not done yet. Wait until the petro shortages hit us. It’s gonna make the covid shutdown look like a walk in the park.

  • They just complained about running low on Tomahawks. Don’t give them any ideas.

  • 👆

    This right here.

It’s always boots on the ground.

The “win the war from the air” has been around since airplanes became a thing in WW1. They’ve been wrong every time.

  • And the oil and energy shortage now thanks to trump’s war.

  • An argument could be made that the safety we’ve enjoyed has allowed stupid people to act like destructive assholes without fear of consequences. Things like being anti-vax, pro-theocratic, and anti-education come to mind.

  • The voice came from an oblong metal plaque like a dulled mirror which formed part of the surface of the right-hand wall. Winston turned a switch and the voice sank somewhat, though the words were still distinguishable. The instrument (the telescreen, it was called) could be dimmed, but there was no way of shutting it off completely.

  • String theory is dogs all the way down.

  • Iran: he’s making shit up again. We didn’t offer anything.

  • Oh, I don’t know about that. The best gaming came out during the millennial’s time. Gen X may have got the gaming ball rolling, but the 90’s and early 2000 really saw things take off in that department.

  • Most anything, home made, not from a box or frozen, just do a good job. People are not used to well prepared home cooked food.

    However, these always work well:

Sous vide salmon, pan seared, with asparagus and hollandaise. If you can’t sous vide, a good pan sear is still amazing.

    Beef Bourguignon.

Shrimp Étouffée, rice, and corn bread.

Pan seared, oven finished steak or loin of some sort. Pork loin works well. Home made skin-on mashed potato and pan roasted bacon parmesan brussels sprouts.

All of these are relatively easy to make, and if done well, go over fantastic.

Want to really wow them? Bake a cheesecake for dessert, especially with a fruit topping.

  • Try being Gen X, lol.

  • Wow. How’s that gun ownership working against the fascist takeover of the US?

    It isn’t?

Gun ownership has, in fact, been usurped by fascists and their supporters in furtherance of the takeover?

    Next argument, please.
