  • This means continued security patches until at least end of 2027, so at the earliest these will be out of support in 2028.

Realistically this will be much longer into the future, as the LTS window of multiple LTS releases is likely to be extended more.I'd be surprised if these go out of support before 2032

  • Molly supports unified push

  • Notification logging is usually done by some other part of android as far as I know. GMS is the typical way to deliver notifications and is a far more serious privacy concern, since it also directly passes googles servers and is not encrypted. However as others mentioned, signal does not send contents there, message notifications with the message contents stay on device.

  • This is about a history of notifications locally on the phone. This is implemented outside of gms at least on my rom, and in the past I have also installed a separate app to do the same.If you log your notifications ... that log can leak your notifications.

  • I though this was a regex command and kept wondering what "girll" means.

  • Thx, that looks completely different yeah. Given that even the neck folds are changed I suppose it's an ai edit.

  • Do you have the original?

  • Lots of huts probably have an ac or heater. This could all be the same device, at which point it'd definitely be easier than running the pipes for water and maintaining pumps and a dedicated tank.Don't see a reason you couldn't have a simple ac window unit that also has a warm water port, which you plug a single cable into going straight to your pannels on the roof.

Edit: And once batteries are more affordable (or if you have a few grand to burn) you can then plug in a battery pack conveniently on the indoors side of your window unit. The indoors side can just have a few regular outlets you can extension cord around to where you need them.

  • Modern solar into a modern heat pump is gonna be more efficient than heating water. It's also more versatile and convenient, cause it maintains that efficiency when you pull power from the grid at night. And of course lets you use the power for other purposes.

  • In serious, most ways to loose blood and need blood infusions will loose the plastics too, so the donated blood just maintains the concentrations, the samw way it does for the other components.Everyone has plastics in their blood.

But then if you donate frequently your blood will have lower concentrations due to all the previous donations, so don't just donate, donate often.

  • Making text flow naturally, grouping and ordeeing information, good writing.

You can verify two textst have the same facts and information, yet one reads way better than the other. But writing a text that reads well is quite hard.

  • If you don't habe the ability then you would do what you would have 5 years ago: not do itEither submit without, or not submit at all.

  • This. Aegis does all of the points except offsite backups. And for good reason. The Aegis app has no network permissions at all, which is obviously a massive boost for security and privacy. And besides, off-device backuping is a nightmare.

Syncing the Aegis backups made on change to some other server is better handled by a great dedicated app. Syncthing is the best such program (by far), though for the few files involved here nextcloud would work just as well.

  • I also find it to be very slow on many networks, and even in ideal conditions it might get 2MB/s when the phone has a 10MB/s connection.

For photos and predictable stuff I thus use syncthing, and the odd very large thing I send using scp with termux.
