I had one as a kid, and it came with a little booklet that showed the series of moves to move pieces around. This definitely wasn't the fastest way to solve, but it worked.
I remember it said to solve the top layer first, then align that with the correct "center" cubes on the second/middle layer. Then you'd get the "edges" of the second/middle layer in place using the series of moves. For the bottom, there was another couple sets of moves.
My friends created a FB account a long time ago, and I did end up using it briefly. I haven't logged into the account in probably 10 years and have no clue what my password is. Thoughts on whether I should bother giving Meta more personal information in order to try to log in & delete that account?
Yeah, I think there was some regulation passed to ban the sale of gas powered leaf blowers within my city or county, but anyone who already owns one is still allowed to use them, and anyone who wants to buy a new one just has to travel to the neighboring city/county to buy one. I'm not sure what happened with that, but I can tell you for sure that the city parks department is definitely still using gas powered leaf blowers.
Correct! Void is the sweetie and is always happy to greet everyone, and is even pretty welcoming to the constant stream of fosters. Tabby is my snuggle buddy, but is a jerk to almost everyone else.
I started out fostering cats (mostly kittens) a few years ago. I switched to a different organization a little while back, and started also volunteering for a variety of administrative tasks in addition to fostering. I love the cats, but would like to get more regular in person human interaction.

Nah, just means the females are all homozygous for orange, and all the males are orange. The gene for orange is on the X chromosome, and since XY males only get one X chromosome, they're either "orange" or "not orange". XX females (and XXY males) can get one copy of "orange" and one copy of "not orange", and that's how you you get torties/calicos, and why torties/calicos are almost always female.
I'm pretty sure almost no one gets "high" from CBD alone. It's the THC that gets you high. I can buy CBD products (no THC) from the local pet supply store.
Oof. A good while back, I worked in a US-based company with offices globally, and they upgraded to a global ERP system. At launch of the new system, documents (such as purchase orders) printed with dates in MM/DD/YYYY format. Thankfully, my suggestion to change that to DD Mmm YYYY (eg. 31 Jan 2026) was quickly implemented without any pushback, but it totally blows my mind that a company operating globally would default to such an ambiguous date format.
So it's a cross between two breeds that, ethically, I really don't think should even exist. I'd have to dig a bit, but I'd be shocked if there's not breeders specifically breeding both of those for blue eyes, so it sadly almost makes more sense now.
Assuming it's real, I think it would have to be as chimera. I don't even think an extra chromosome would explain this. I'm oversimplifying a little, but the genetics when it comes to the black/brown coloration is either "tabby" or "not tabby", and "tabby" is dominant, so as long as it received one copy of "tabby", every part of the coat that isn't white should be tabby.
I'd prefer to sleep in total silence, but since that's not an option where I currently live, I have a white noise machine.
