  • Finally, an article that does a deep dive into every question I had about that song. This was much needed in my life; thank you for sharing it.

  • Meow?

  • No. What year did that came out? I stopped watching Nickelodeon sometime around 2004.

  • I like LLMs. I'm aware of their limitations, and I use them daily.

  • How exactly do they plan on getting this message to the people who need to see it most? It's not like Windows has KDE installed, and your average PC user isn't checking out the latest KDE news. So how are they going to see it?

  • "More than 10 MPH"? They do it if you're going more than five over!

  • Nope. There isn't.

I don't want give you a false sense of hope, but if they so happen to decide to text you first: it's okay to respond, but speak to them as if you're friends. They have to know that you're ready to move on. And then go from there. Who knows what could happen.

But you also have to prepare yourself for the possibility that you may never hear back from them again. And only time will help you come to terms with that very real possibility.

  • Give it time.

  • So how many panels does it take to power your average kitchen fridge? I estimate that a single modern rooftop-style panel could pull it off. Is there a battery being used in this setup? I suppose you wouldn't need one if you're only storing drinks that don't need to be kept at a safe temperature 24/7. Regardless, I wish the article would have asked these questions.

  • Saw that one in theaters. Girlfriend is a Zillenial who has never seen the show. Still loved it. It's great even on its own. Don't want to spoil anything so the only other thing I'll say is just see it. Going in blind is best.

  • SponsorBlock is useful for more than just skipping sponsored segments, you know. The name is misleading; It's way more powerful than that. You can also add "Skip intro" and "skip credits" buttons to videos, just like it's Netflix. Or skip filler and go straight to the meat of the video, like I just did.

Even if you don't mind sponsored segments, you should still give it a try. Its got a lot of useful features. Just disable the sponsor skipping feature and enable the other stuff if you want.

  • sigh* Speaking of which, that reminds me of when I finally played Portal for the first time. Everybody was talking about how hilarious and amazing the end credits were...

Imagine my disappointment when finally beat the game, only to find out they the "hilarious song" was just Still Alive, a tune I had already heard thousands of times before, thanks to all the memes.

  • Only if there is something to watch during them. If it's just a bunch of names scrolling across a static screen then no.

  • I hope you're right. Nintendo has turned into a bunch of cocky assholes and they need to be taught a hard lesson. I hope the Switch 2 flops so hard, costing them so much that they don't have any spare money left to continue suing the Palworld devs. They need to be put in their place.

  • A "couple presses of the arrow keys" can overshoot, forcing you to hunt around with the mouse to find the content.

SponsorBlock has an option to skip the segment with a single button press (instead of auto-skipping). You should give it a try before you judge. It's really convenient.
