  • I was always glad I didn't have friends to trade with because Hunter was so much cooler than gengar

  • Absolutely, if I were a Pokemon character lampent would be my picachu.

  • Haunter is my original favorite but of all the Pokemon I've seen it's gotta be a toss up between Lampent, Sinistea, and gimmighoul.

If you can't tell, ghost type is my thing.

  • First off, all of those are actually normal names. I've met two Wayne families in the last year, unrelated. Most super hero secret identity names were picked to be very common.

Second, you're not likely to lose any job opportunities unless the name you pick is genuinely uncomfortable for people to say. If you change your name to "Joe Fuctphace" you're not going to be taken seriously.

Third, from personal experience, having a fake sounding name actually gets me more opportunities across the board. I changed my name in marriage to take my spouse's last name and make the name I've been using for ages official. I'm frequently told that it's such a cool name, places are more likely to get my order right when I call them in, and I'm more memorable in the interview process. My favorite interaction with strangers is when someone is like, "I love you name," and I get to respond, "Thanks! I picked it myself!" Normally it leads to a fun chat and occasionally a new friend.

  • It had some amazing things going on for a long while. I heard a lot of it fell apart around 2014 when the gold finally hit true hyperinflation and they tried to introduce a 3rd currency.

  • Honestly the story behind mad max is almost as wild as the story in mad max. It really is a wild ride.

  • gaiaonline.com is still up and running. That was my jam way back in 2011.

  • So it's like co-op web indexing?

  • I have absolutely no idea what this is or what it's supposed to do but it's incredibly fun to poke at

  • My dude you just need better people. My spouse and I gab about stuff like this all the time.

  • Had to look it up, it's a breakfast sandwich from England. "Beef Canadian“ slices which are apparently roast beef or something similar, fried mushrooms and onions, cheddar cheese, and either ketchup or maple syrup.

Honestly, not too bad sounding. Put it on rye or pumpernickel, maybe a thick roll and pan fried like a melt.

  • This is something that killed walking dead for me. There was a whole thing where they're in the prison and the zombies outside manage to mass up enough that they break the fence. If they took shifts, 4 hrs a day with a spear and head stabbed the zombies they would never have gotten to a critical mass.

Infact, I did the math years ago for my ideal zombie escape zone. It would only take 8 people and a month to effectively eliminate the entire regional population if we move in 4 hour shifts. So baring the entire nearest metropolitan city showing up at once with a psychic level awareness of our presence and a deep need for revenge, all you really need is consistency and a schedule.

  • Carrots

    Jump
  • Fun fact, baby carrots aren't babies at all. They take any carrot that doesn't fit their classic 🥕 shape and put it through a machine that cuts them to length and lathes them into the tiny rounded dowels we know and love. The inventor of the machine was inspired by his wife wishing she didn't have to cut and peal carrots for recipes.

They're not babies, they're the dismembered bits of any healthy plant that dares not conform to the advertised, mass appeal standards of consumer products, mechanically processed and sold to us with a marketable name.

  • I honestly don't know anymore. I though I had a really diverse music taste and I especially love abnormal noises in music, but then I used musicbrainz to categorize all my music and found out the basically everything I listen to has the Avantgarde genre. I don't know if that's supposed to mean I'm on the far edge of adventure and listening to only the most experiential of music or if I'm so narrow in my niche that I only listen to music considered too weird to categorize.

  • Had to look this up, holy fuck that goes from 0-100 fast...

  • But actually the big thing that helped me was sitting down and assessing why I wanted to correct this stuff. It never gave me any satisfaction, it never lead to anything I liked, and a good deal of it was likely venting trauma from being talked down to all my life. Once I put it together it just kind of stopped happening.

  • I always heard "Dirty deeds in those dungarees"

  • Last I heard they only released the data on what they had, when did they release the actual music?

  • This is looking to be my best option, it looks like I can send text notifications through email to sms and I like that
