  • I bought a 13600k a few months ago. Applied all the microcode patches but I think the processor is toast. If I’m able to boot up most programs just crash. Steam loads once out of every 10 times I try and open it. Forget games.

    I spent $400+ CAD on this processor less than 6 months ago. It’s unusable now. I will never ever purchase an intel processor again, even if they fix this and this never happens again. I was sold a defective product and I have no recourse to get my money back.

    I have an unusable computer.

  • I was seriously hyped for it and waited years until I had a good gaming rig and then when I downloaded it I couldn’t even get past the loading screen. Unable to establish connection to Microsoft servers. I ended up buying Xplane 12 and Aerofly FS4 instead.

  • I wonder if it’s going to take several hours to download all the world content before allowing you into the menu screen like MSFS2020 does.

    I wonder if they’ll insist on using MS servers for the content and will be kept at MS server caps at 5MBPS, meaning that it will take 20+ hours of downloading before you can even play, pulling you outside of the 2 hour Steam return window.

  • It sounds like you really want this to be an assassination attempt and are doing your very best to justify it as such. I won’t try and dissect that because it’s a personal thing to you and I don’t even know you.

    In reality, he may have wanted to kill trump. But at the same time, he did not get close to him, he brought a bunch of equipment and hung around outside a secured facility until the guards chased him away. That is a suspicious and armed person on the premises. Not an attempted assassination.

    There were no shots fired, he didn’t get close, he didn’t even get within sight range.

    I understand this is an emotionally charged subject for you since you keep insisting that reality unfolded differently so I won’t engage with you further. I wish ya well.

  • You seem to be quite riled up but it’s important to get all the facts first before letting our emotions take over.

    The facts are that a disturbed man hid in the bushes outside of trumps golf course in Florida with a gun. Secret service saw the guy and shot near him and chased him. This guy did not at any point get close or within sight range of Trump.

    Did he wanna kill Trump? Possibly. But the fact remains he never aimed at trump, he never got close to him, and he never fired a single shot.

    There was no assassination attempt. Take deep breath. No one has mentioned any conspiracy theory. Id wager in fact that those hellbent on calling this an assassination attempt are trying to create their own conspiracy theory. Be better and be smarter, my guy.

  • I’m in Canada and I’ve had opticians do this. They are full of shit. You need your distance between pupils and prescription (and possibly cylinder measurements if you have astigmatism) to buy glasses. They are preventing you from buying from other people and are trying to convince you that you must buy from them.

    Email them asking for the prescription and cc their head office if they have one. If they refuse, tell them that what they are doing is illegal in Canada. An optician MUST give a patient their prescription but it does not require the distance between pupils.

    Switch shops and absolutely leave a bad review and mention what they did.
