When I was 16-22ish, I knew everything. I was sure of it. I had it all figured out. Everyone was an idiot except me. I tried giving everyone advice because I had the best advice.
Then reality kicked me in the ass and brought me down a couple pegs and I realized that I was so incredibly wrong. I'm just a guy with limited knowledge and the world and universe is so vast and different that no one can "know it all" or even come remotely close.
I'm so thankful for that. Otherwise I'd be a fucking moron with a dumb leather jacket waxing poetic about skilled trades as I pretend that next word guessing chatbots are the pinnacle of humanity's creation.
Wild. I knew Henry Ford was a Nazi but didn't know square dancing was a result of him lobbying schools to try and control the culture. Nazis are dumber than rocks.
Hey! I started running a home server on Windows 10. It was a great easy way to get started. The only problem for me that I found with time was that Windows updates would take everything that I was running offline, which was a nuisance to log back in and open everything up.
Do they really have free speech though? I was gobsmacked seeing how a former US Army veteran spent a month in jail and lost his job for posting a meme of Charlie Kirk with one of his quotes. You wouldn't get locked up for posting something like that in Canada.
If this sort of event were to happen, I would have bigger things to worry about than my data. What use would it be anymore? What about drinking water and food? What about my ADHD meds? Shits about to get very twisted if I stop these meds. I fear for everyone else. In fact, if this sort of event was to happen, everyone should be worried about what happens when I'm not on my meds. Data be damned.
My votes for content. A long fast tail twitch is usually annoyance. This looks like "Chill and surveying" but it's the only context I have and I don't know your cat so this could be wrong.
This unlocked a core memory of me sneaking down to the pantry at 11pm-1:00am when I was hungry too! My parents would sometimes catch me and that was a whole performance. I had forgotten about all that. Crazy how similar people's experiences are. Fortunately we're both out of those situations now
