As a ux design graduate I realized that my degree is absolutely useless so I switched to IT. Not a single company now gives a flying fuck about what users want or how to design things to help users.
I got banned from there because I commented on a thread asking about Cuba. I’ve actually been there in 2019 and in 2023 and my firsthand account (as well as a story a local told me) received heavy criticism and it was removed by the moderators. I didn’t even say anything controversial, just that the food options were limited, there was not a lot of protein, and some first hand accounts from my bus driver of the 2021 riots and protests.
This was enough to be removed and banned. I got called a fascist :)
Textured PEI plate!!! I’ve had a glass plate printer and it was pretty decent but eventually warped and caused most prints to stop sticking as well.
Now I have a textured PEI plate printer and I haven’t had a single issue with bed stickiness. Bonus is I can remove the plate and flex it to pull new prints off of it.
I’d love to know why an algorithm shows me this stuff as I don’t look any of it up. It’s quite traumatic to see. It’s the reason I don’t use these social media apps anymore. They’re all suggested posts and it’s an assault.
It’s all over the place on Facebook and Twitter though. There’s dog fighting, cock fighting, monkey abuse showing up on my Facebook home feed every now and then. This shouldn’t be a surprise really.
