  • Does their CEO even DO Ketamine? How many outlandish promises have they made recently? Have we even seen ONE "Roman" salute at a government function?

How are we even supposed to determine a valuation?

  • Especially on mobile... It's crazy how many times I tried to do a food order or some checkout process and mobile Firefox just hits some error.

  • My guess is that the hate for trans people is giving people like Thiel an opportunity to "punch down" on a minority that is even more hated by the right.

  • My only criticism is lack of affordance on the slider. Is the dark part the slider or the light part? Some of the newer ones have the little ridges for "traction".

  • Wondering the same thing, maybe they think the information about their private server and network setups will be used against them?

  • I think the major investors and CEOs all privately know this is insanity but are trying to capitalize on the wild speculation as much as possible so they are publicly saying otherwise. They probably think that they will have insider information about the bubble bursting and can get out in time, and they're probably mostly right. It's the normies with 401ks that will be left holding the bag.

Or, they are hoping that the bubble bursts while the Trump crime family is in charge and that big tech bribes will result in big tech bailouts. And they're probably right about that too.

  • Probably before my time... What I remeber from using AOL was that their browser and keyword structure was like an idiot-proof version of the Internet that was accessible for the entire family. I guess they thought that typing www.something.com was for techies... But that ultimately they were still providing you an internet connection and you could use other software to access the actual internet.

  • The problem is Republicans use Voter ID as a Trojan horse to enact naked voter suppression. There are very few people who actually oppose Voter ID if implemented properly.

The issue is complicated by the fact that elections even for president are run by the states, because of the anti-democratic views of some of the founding fathers 250 years ago. Different states wanted to prevent different types of people from voting, some states took a long time to allow non-landowners to vote.

In my state, you have to have provided ID and be a citizen to be on the voter registration list, and they check my name against the list but don't ask for ID. So someone who wanted to stealy vote would have to know I was registered and was not planning to vote.

  • Is this just lack of dedicated GPU on mobile?

  • Didn't know that was a cover, but also recently found out that Ghost of Tom Joad was a cover too. That's the one I came to post.
