  • That's also assuming you're the first born of the first born of the first born, and so on. And the further back you go, the more individual kids the average mother is likely to have. After all, you had to have like 12 kids just so 3 of them would make it past 9.

So your greatx12 grandmother might've started having kids at 15, but she still might not have had your ancestor till years later.

  • That works better if you use a guitar, instead of a bat.

  • Not to mention, it's definitely possible for men to have successful careers in sex work. I expect there are far fewer successful men in sex work, and they probably need to be ok with having a mostly male clientele. But it's still possible.

  • I haven't given up. You don't fucking know me. I hope you never have to deal with this shit I'm going to have to in the best case scenario.

But of course you won't. You aren't one of those pathetic, worthless pieces of shit who had the misfortune of being born trans in America.

  • I'll remember how much I deserve it on the way to the concentration camp. Sorry I didn't singlehandedly turn the fucking country for you.

  • If you're an american you deserve what's coming thanks to your action, or impotence.

Go fuck yourself with this. I don't fucking deserve the horrors that are like coming for me. My country failed me.

  • Once you're dead you've got no problems to cope with. Win win!

  • Others have addressed some of your other points, but

would you mind inventing a new word either for gender-neutral third-person singular pronoun, or one for what "they" mean to foreign English speakers

We actually have that. Xe / Xem / Xyrs. It isn't very widely used though, and is generally considered a neo pronoun.

Honestly I don't really expect it to get mainstream use anytime soon, in part because people are already accused to the singular They / Them / Theirs (except for when a nonbinary person asks to be refered to as such).

  • I'm guessing they're talking about the War on Drugs.

  • I've always said that about Texas, but Florida fits pretty well too.

  • They want more teen pregnancies. Teen pregnancies tend to keep the mother poor, and subsequently the child. That keeps them desperate and more likely to be desperate enough to take shitty, low paying jobs, or potentially even doing slave labor in a for profit prison.

It also puts strain on the rest of the family.

  • Remember, slavery in the US was never abolished, just obfuscated.

  • I mostly just wish people would stop posting pictures of him. I don't want the wrong person to actually recognize him, and get him caught.

  • I mean, just because the Internet is down doesn't mean you can't go buy another hard drive in a brick and mortar store later.

  • We really should just have a different symbol tho. Maybe we do, I'm not a math wiz, but we certainly don't have a broadly used one.

  • Yeah, but those empty units are still costing you money, especially if you still have a mortgage on them. You want to fill them before other landlords with the same problem snatch up your potential tenants. And there's fewer tenants to go around. If someone else drops rent and snatches up all your potential tenants you're just stuck paying off your own mortgage until you find someone.

And it's not like you became a landlord to pay off your own mortgage.

  • Is this that Joe Rogan podcast all my least favorite coworkers listen to?

  • Short

  • Assuming no consequences means I won't die, or catch a disease or something, I'd go back like a hundred million years or so to look at dinosaurs.
