It depends on where it comes from too because some countries have been letting people use theirs specifically because it makes sense given what the content is. I learned this for the .tv domain which is for the country Tuvalu but they’ve found it a nice way to make some extra money for television shows wanting a neat domain.
This is what actually tired me more than driving when I did Uber for a while. I felt exhausted from socializing but probably more so because it was the same conversation each time “how did you start, when did you start, do you do anything besides Uber…”. Ironically my first passenger was probably the most enjoyable conversation I had while doing Uber and we drove over 70 miles to her destination talking the entire way.
Getting an Uber driver/passenger who didn’t want to talk was always the best for me. Not trying to be rude, but I enjoy driving in quiet more times than not, even when alone, I don’t always listen to music or anything on my radio. I don’t get why some people can’t seem to enjoy silence and constantly need some sort of artificial background noise.
The wear and tear on my car and the expensive trips are why I don’t drive or take Ubers anymore. I pulled up the app a few weeks ago to get a lift to somewhere 5 miles away and the trip just getting there was like $20. Paying that much in gas could get me well over 100 miles even in my area where gas is insane.

I try not to be rude and converse back if they talk, and I’ve had some legit good conversations with some barbers, but I so enjoy the quiet when getting my hair cut and enjoying it like a massage.
I was really sick recently and had a persistent bloody nose after a really bad coughing spell. I decided I’d head out to the ER at around midnight. I stepped out of the bathroom and my cat was sitting there with the most horrified look on his face staring back at me. He had this strange meow I’d not heard before.
I can’t be sure, but I think he was concerned for me. I’m his entire world and there whenever he cries out. It felt nice to have him since I don’t really have anyone here with me but I felt sorry for him not knowing what’s going on and seeing me bleeding and leaving the house at such a late time of day without being able to take time to pet him and tell him I’d be back like I normally do. Thankfully it wasn’t as major as I thought and I was back in a few hours and was so glad to see him and so he’d know I’m okay.

Even before the boom of AI, I remember seeing a lot of random crap of unusual shapes just being added together and uploaded. I wonder if they’ll remove those too.
Most components nowadays are built and designed like LEGO bricks. If it fits, it probably goes there. If you gotta force it, you’re probably putting something in the wrong spot.
Granted, CPUs can still be fragile and you have to put it in a certain way so as to not damage pins on the underside or your motherboard, depending on which generation we’re talking about, but if you read the instructions and pay attention to the guides made for you by the manufacturers, you’ll be okay. They generally will make a corner weird so it only fits in that way and no other to prevent you from putting it in the wrong way, for example.
RAM sticks are similar. They are not made symmetric on purpose because it is meant to go in one way and stay that way. And even with different generations, they are placed differently so a DDR3 stick will never accidentally fit without forcing it into a DDR4 slot, for example.
Even with stuff like thermal paste, they give you enough that if you make a mistake, you clean it up and reposition and still have enough to redo the process. I speak from experience on that one lol. Gotta get it right and then can screw down.
With prices being as crazy as they are, maybe you can buy old hardware from the DDR3/DDR2 generation and take it apart and put it back together as a test? Do this and build an era specific computer to play era specific games, like aiming for 2010 and get parts for that time meant to play games from around that time?
There’s that one studio infamous for this that has made movies like Atlantic Rim which is a copy of Pacific Rim. The Asylum is the name of that studio.

Can confirm this. I experienced this on my Pi3 recently with a VPN. I mean, it wasn’t the end of the world. Just that the specific docker container I wanted to use wasn’t compatible because of ARM so I had to go with a different one.
It could be bad for specific things that are more obscure. But I use my Pi for PiHole adblocking and VPN and that’s it. My other stuff lives on another machine and the Pi is set up for redundancy and it’s more reliable if power outages happen since power in means power on by default.
If you can get one for cheap and just want it for the same reason, could be alright.
What are some examples of low-effort posts? I’ve never felt that way about any posts I’ve seen here. Granted I’m not a heavy user in this community, just been a lurker, but I may be using this more as I grow my own home lab.
SFTP has been mentioned and is a good choice but this could also be done over torrents too. It’s the other most common legal use besides Linux distros.
Probably a direct link to the home network so the camera looks like it’s on the same network.
I’ve thought of and tried this for my VR headset to my home in a similar manner. The VR headset will only stream from my gaming PC if it’s on the same network and so I’d hope to use a VPN to tunnel into my network when not at home to play remotely. I’ve not gotten this to work, but this sounds like a similar hope for OP with a camera.
I could never make something like this. I would swear to eat one and then the whole plate is gone before I know it.
