I've seen cars get T-boned after running a red light, you will not survive that on a bike.
Ok, let them earn their Darwin award, that's their decision to make. Same with riding without a helmet, I don't really care if someone else has a death wish.
It becomes a problem when they're endangering other people, that's why cars running red lights is wrong. A car running a red light is orders of magnitude more dangerous to everyone around it than a bicycle.
As long as you follow the rules
In a lot of places bikes can go through red lights if it's clear because it's safer to allow them to get a headstart on the cars and get in front of them where they can see them, instead of waiting for someone to turn right into you once the light turns green because you're in a cars blindspot.
Another thing people don't realize is they're not in a rush, although this could change if google thinks they can make more money by reducing travel times... But they don't speed, they don't roll through stop signs, they don't try and beat stop lights. Humans maturely want to get to a place as fast as possible, even if it only saves them 10 seconds on a light cycle they'll go for it. This also plays into road rage, the waymo isn't going to get frustrated by the guy going 10 under in the left lane, but that can drive some people crazy.
They have to report any accidents to the authorities. They tend to be very diligent on this as cruise, another former autonomous vehicle company, went under after it lied about how an accident happened.
First the military parades, now this. He thinks he's giving Napoleon energy when he's really giving kim family energy, who have their own arch which is :
The structure is modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, but is 10 metres (33 ft) taller.
So you know this arch de trump will be 10 meters higher than Kim's.
Rich people can, the top 10% currently account for nearly half of consumer spending in the US. The economy is increasingly revolving around catering to that top 10% and absurd door dash delivery charges are part of that.
Ok, just replace the word "walk" with "drive" and the point still stands for most of the rest of america. In fact it shows even more laziness as driving is much easier.
Who ask for delivery from a store that's 10 minutes walking?
A lot of tech workers in San Francisco. They get paid enough that the $20 in fees doesn't mean much and lazy / overworked enough to not go and get it themselves.
I assume door dash makes most of there money of those customers, rich / upper middle class people in big cities, as those people are the ones willing to pay the outrageous fees they charge.
Especially with titties, you think your five year old can't deduce that those bumps on women's chest have a nipple on it just like theres. Even if they can't I doubt that revelation will be traumatic or earth shattering.
Ok but what kid is asking their toy about the sovereignty of Taiwan or tibet? If it was trying to fit it in to every conversation like grok talking about white genocide then I'd be worried, but this seems like they're going out of there way to try and paint the toys as propaganda machines.
Wouldn't they just be shooting themselves in the foot here? Even with all the talk about decoupling and tariffs, the European and American economy are still heavily intertwined and a recession in the US will almost certainly spread to the EU.
Look at what happened in 2008, some wall street crooks made some stupid bets on mortgages and then the euro-zone got sent into a debt crisis.
To what? Smaller local servers? By most accounts those are less efficient, energy wise, water wise, labor wise etc. and thus more costly for the end user.
I don't like Amazon controlling huge parts of the Internet infrastructure either but we shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water with hyper scaling, we should treat them as a public utility and heavily regulate them or even better nationalize them.
I thought it didn't have classes in name only, isn't a struct with methods basically a class?
