  • Soups!

I think my first experiences as a child were tomato soups that just tasted bad to me.

Now I love minestrone, chicken and corn, beef and vegetable, pea and ham, and more! Often a slice of toast or crackers or croutons with.

  • Dogs should be brushed, but not washed (and never with shampoo unless for health reasons).

Have had many long-haired breeds that look great, feel soft and are not smelly, purely through brushing often.

  • Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Flowers

Flowers's team at Dollis Hill built the first machine in eleven months. It was immediately dubbed 'Colossus' by the Bletchley Park staff for its immense proportions.

Flowers was left in debt after the war after using his own personal funds to build Colossus.

It was not until the 1970s that Flowers' work in computing was fully acknowledged. His family had known only that he had done some 'secret and important' work.

  • I see an LLM as my good-but-not-perfect assistant, there to code up boring bits "loop thru this data and extract...", "improve this bit of code please", and to help with errors "why does this code give that error".

I never let it do big slabs of code, and always run and check its code incrementally.

It is my code and the LLM just makes it easier to do. Thanks LLM.

  • Knew a guy who had laser treatment and he found it hard to drive at night afterwards due to doubled/blurry effects.

  • Why have one? Maintenance alone could feed a dozen families.

  • There are medicines for that, start mild.
