  • Not a single word about Hamachi? What a banger software... Playing LAN games with prople over 1000km away.

    Nowadays, there isn't any LAN option in games anymore and most need a full internet connection to even start the game... Luckily there are still people doing the heavylifting allowing pirates games to still work (online-fix) with friends.

    Yep I do miss too the old WAN parties :)

    I haven't looked at your link yet and maybe it already contains my answer, but I wish to customize for how long they are traped into the tarpit before fail2ban kicks in so I can still poison their AI while saving alot of ressources !!

    block anything that visits it more, than X times with fail2ban

    I guess this is it, but I'm not sure how that translates from nepenthese to fail2ban. Need further reading and testing !

  • Yeah... Can you tell me where to change this? This article is not very clear, who, where or what... I'm running headless Debian 12 and can't even find any variable related to org.freedesktop.udisks2.modify-device or any polkit rule in /etc/polkit-1/rules.d/.... and not even a PolicyKit package installed on my system (polkit?)...

    The only thing that comes close is /usr/share/polkit-1/...

    udisks2 is not even installed by default on my debian 12 system.

  • Isn't RedHat who pushed systemd? Most init enthusiasts hate systemd ! Dunno if related tho. I'm just recently into linux so I never had the chance to give the init system a try !

    However, I'm an opensource and free from corporate shit software lover. Try to avoid everything related to corpo (Redhat, Ubuntu...). That's exaclty the reason why I'm reluctant to give Fedora a try, even though it seems kinda a good distro !

    However, Tempo hasn't been updated for a few months now and hope the maintainer is doing okay?

    Tried a few other alternatives but Tempo came out the best IMO !

    That's not futur proof IMO. If logSeq disappeared, your notes become useless :/. Or maybe I did misunderstood something on how it works?
