  • !!!that just made my day! That's one pretty lady you have there

  • It's like she just don't care! We're fostering, but it feels like we're being adopted. Kinda like, "this is my safe space now, deal with it"... and ya know what?, I am lol. She's too sweet (and bitchy, but also really sweet)

  • If I could materialize condolences, and give them all to you... well, I guess that would be a headache of a storage issue for most people... but I would still want to give them all to you

It's almost impossible to describe loss sometimes; and yet we all experience it, if we're lucky enough to stay longer than those whom we love. I know it's cliché, but "better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all"... a bittersweet notion

The fact that a stranger feels compelled to offer condolences, regardless of societal pressure... is a testament to the love and companionship you shared with Kevin. I am truly so sorry for your loss, and I hope you're doing well enough through it all

Until the end and beyond, you'll forever be best friends. And the world is better for it. So, three cheers to Kevin!

  • Honestly, I've never really seen a cat sploot so unabashedly before. I love it!

  • It's a Futurama reference

  • Interesting! Like, "I have suddenly awoken"

  • My parents separated right before my 3rd birthday, and I still remember the argument (not the words, but the emotions and some actions). My mom threw a shoe and I remember thinking it was funny, because it landed on the window sill. I remember my dad leaving out the side door, and I guess it stuck with me cause he didn't come back (not out of my life, just never came "home"). And then I remember my 3rd birthday party, who was there, and even a remote control car that my friend's parents got me

But because of that, I can make a timeline a little easier, of whether my parents were together or not. And also which house, because they separated after moving to "my" second house

My first house we moved out of when I was maybe 2-ish. And I can still draw the layout, and what room was what. I can remember a Mr Yuk magnet on the fridge

My mom making fishsticks in the oven and they caught fire

A net of stuffed animals above my crib

Jumping in my crib and laughing with my sister, and then pretending to be asleep when the babysitter opened the door.

Shit, I still remember staring at that damn mobile above my crib a little, cause it was so soothing to me. I actually really liked that crib, it felt so safe lol

And then at our second house, I got a "big boy" bed and had my own room. Old memories are so strange in the way they're recalled, almost like a fever dream or something

  • Came to ask the same. I mean, obviously corrupt bullshit... but the "flatscreen" part is kinda outta touch

  • Damn lol... kids or no kids, if you're doing it right, you're exhausted

  • I find the entire concept of "childless" or "childed" surreal

We would love to have kids. We can't (easily or realistically). So gloating about having free time because no kids, or how amazing it is to be a parent... just seems, insincere sometimes. Idk, maybe it's a little bitterness talking and I should just let people have fun with their memes. I guess I just find gloating about having or not having children to be weird, when for some people it's not really a choice

By no means am I trying to say that you're gloating about anything, I thought your comment was sweet. I was just adding a third perspective to a random comment

  • We were supposed to go to a Mardi Gras parade with family, but thankfully they cancelled. So now we're awake early, have valentines day off together with no plans... and we're gonna go fishing for a bit. Packing a cooler now and about to head out, then we'll see where the day takes us! Just excited to have the day with my best friend (aka wife)

  • My wife and I are both allergic. Long story short: we suffered, bought an oversized (HEPA) air-purifier (plus some small ones), suffered some more, then became much more tolerant of the allergens... only took a few years to not have asthma upon waking up

So, it can be done — but your mileage and allergies may vary. Downside is, a lot of my family is very allergic too, so staying at my house is almost non-optional. Upside is, loving best friends and... staying at my house is almost non-optional if allergic

We keep a pet-free guest bedroom for reprieve, but ya gotta want it. Antihistamines available upon request

  • My wife and I were adopted last month (I'm pretty sure). We tried finding her home on the social media sites as well as put up picture-flyers around town, still nobody claiming her. So now we have an appointment for vaccinations and a spay, and we'll go from there

    Cat tax

  • Doesn't even need violence. Just like-minded numbers that want accountability from representatives. People back down from a show of force, whether that be from kinetic energy or potential. Numbers enmass is enough to enforce change, without violence... simply with the implicative. Inevitably people will get hurt (we're past that), but true consequences are often worse than death

  • Auctioned/trafficked by ultra rich. They probably won't be found easily. Maybe if we could actually see the Epstein files, we could have some of those answers

  • More distraction from his kiddie diddlying/trafficking/protecting his handlers, I see. $10 BILLION LAW SUIT vs the IRS!!! How un-astonishingly absurd and "dead cat on table" of him

Let's sue him ourselves, for... everything‽, in the amount of $1 Trillion dollars! muwhahahahahaaa! That should make him shit his pants back down a little

Or just continue letting him do whatever he wants, because he's captured the "checks and balances" and proven the lack of consequences. That bitch is fucked, it's the puppet-handlers that need to walk the line (if they wanna keep the charade up). And they don't give a fuck, cause they've got the perfect patsy

He can threaten everything once again, but good luck taking that grift to the grave. Salting the earth motherfuckers won't have a habitable Mars to run to, cause they're too busy burning the shit behind them

Enjoy the yachts while you can! I'll enjoy my humanity, meanwhile

  • Damn... very literal today, aren't we? Brava

  • I'm godsmacked, I tell ya whhat
