As someone with very little programming knowledge, the existence of all the "Learn how to program in our easy to use course and AI Assistance for $800 a month!" sites baffles me when w3schools is just... there. It has helped me massively, without a dime.
I also just realised that the about page of w3s has a ChatGPT section of "This is how ChatGPT describes W3Schools", why????
It's easy because you're used to Linux and most likely have been using it for a while (maybe, idk). I agree that Arch isnt hard but I probably wouldnt even be able to figure out how to mount my disks or even find the install iso 6 years ago when I had no linux and no "terminal" experience.
I reccomend kubuntu. I want to reccomend mint but it just has some weird small quirks that I don't think will go well with the people I'm reccomending to, and its somehow still not fully on Wayland. Plasma also looks better than Cinnamon, which doesn't matter really but its much easier to sell Linux when it looks nice.
Yes... I actually cannot fathom just how incessantly bad a company can manage to be, and how some people still refuse to realise how there's literally nothing of value to be had from anything made by Microsoft.
Also PowerPoint lol. I like PowerPoint. The latest versions a bit less, but the versions from like 2019-2022 were pretty solid. They also have full on mobile-looking side panel ads in the office apps if you aren't subscribed to M365 now...
