  • I'm using Busuu along with Anki and independent stuff I find online. I used Duolingo for a big part of my study but when I switched to Busuu I quickly realized I didn't know anything about sentence structure, grammer, or even kanji. So, in my opinion, Duolingo is great for learning words and the three writing systems but not so great about learning everything else.

  • Trust me, I feel the same

  • Definitely, I try as much as I can to use the Japanese keyboard and reading in Japanese. It's a cool language and same, there are some songs that I like that I have no idea what they're singing about

  • Ah, I didn't even catch that. OK then I might be wrong about it being derived from 話す, ah oh well, we're all learning

  • From what I understand (Don't take what I say as correct as it may be wrong) but when 語(はな) hana, which is derived from 話す(はなす) hanasu which is the verb to speak, is paired with a nationality, with some exceptions of course like English which is 英語(えいご) eigo, it describes a language. So, pair 語(はな) hana with 日本(にほん) nihon, Japan in Japanese, then you get 日本語(にほんご) nihongo, meaning Japanese. Another example is French which is フランス語 (Furansugo).

And 勉強 is the Kanji for べんきょ(benkyo) which means study.

  • Charlatan

  • That's cool being to speak and understand multiple languages. I started learning it because I think it sounds neat when people speak it. Plus, I want to go there one day for a visit and I don't want to be a typical 外人 (Foreigner) haha

  • はい、私は日本語勉強します。(Yes, I'm studying Japanese.) I've been doing it for the past year but not consistently. I can say and understand basic phrases but I'm far from being able to hold a conversation.

  • I gave my younger cousin my Z Fold 5 for free. I got a new phone and he said he wanted a foldable so it made sense

  • Yes, very nice! I wish I could remember her though.

No, but if you were to see what I look like in real life then you probably wouldn't do anything either. Just the joys of not being able to pick my genes.

  • When I was in high school I was working in a grocery store for an after-school job. While on a weekend shift, a customer didn't seem to be having a good day and lashed out at me for not being to find something. A lady who I've never seen before came to my defense and stood up for me against the guy and actually vouched for me to my supervisor who came to intervene. That was the last time I think anyone has ever stood up for me.

  • I'm working on a freelancing project for a company that's going to be paying me over $5k for the work I've done. I don't know what I'm going to be using the money for but it'll be nice to not have to worry about money for a while.

  • My second year of University a guy fell off the roof and didn't make it. Everyone was sent home while they cleaned everything up. That was the first time I cried for someone I didn't know.

  • I do, but I don't run it as a regular channel. I use it to post the creative stuff I do like music, animations, or some art stuff.

  • I let my imagination run wild. I believe whatever society you can of, sci-fi, medieval, fantasy, steam punk, I believe it's all out there. Waiting to be discovered. There's got to be a planet out there filled with humans, like us, but they live in cloud cities and live intertwined with another species. The Grey's are robots they use, like Detroit become human, as assistants. Or, there is a society where magic is the norm. They believe it's magic but to us, it's the manipulation of matter, powerful magnets, and transformation of states of matter.

Anything better than our boring, 9-5, money based, car dependant society.

  • Aliens

  • I still sleep with a nightlight and I'm in my late twenties

  • In Animal Crossing Wild World I had a white duck in my town that I adored. I don't know why I liked her
