  • CCTV map 🫪

  • That's so awesome.

I still have my Elder Scrolls maps starting from Morrowind, and I plan to poster frame them. I love those worlds so much. :)

Was funny that Skyrim claimed to come with a "fabric map" but it was more like... Textured cardstock? Lol

  • Y'know as somebody who scored a lot of Sanderson books at my library bookstore...THANK YOU FOR THIS!

    It's intimidating, but welcome. :D

  • Gotta make sure that things get copied.

Gotta sure make things get that copied.

Sure gotta get that things make copied.

  • Come on

    Jump
  • "Ya dun goof'd! Our LLM is gonna backtrace ya an' report you to the cyber police... Also an LLM! Consequences will never be the same!"

  • Would be hilarious seeing some desktop rig using a whole bunch of Flock RAM crammed together with some kind of adapters lol.

"Can a Flock cam run Doom?!"

  • Come on

    Jump
  • "and our llm's uncle works at Nintendo"

    ...crap, that's weirdly plausible.

  • Gotta make sure that things get copied.

Gotta make sure that things get copied.

  • "By existing within these borders through no conscious choice of your own, you are indicating that you agree to these terms."

  • The way speeds are decided are rather ridiculous too. If I recall in some places (ahem: suburbia), it's some kind of consensus of local landowners.

So they'll set the speed limit to 35 mph along a ridiculously long and straight road with nothing on either side but suburb entrances and sidewalks.

The limits in my city are such that going 10 over is usually no big deal. It's weird.

Because also if you stuck exactly to that limit, everyone drives dangerously around you because they'd go faster driving a horse and buggy lol.

  • That was beyond embarrassing. 'Pubbies dragged him through the mud for a spectacle to feed their news apparatus to get their seals clapping again.

He rightfully exercised his rights and gave them nothing as they just slandered him over and over.

Guy did the best he could while working for a bunch of cultist buffoons (who would share a single braincell, if only they could share anything, because sharing is socialism.)

They're desperately clawing for ANYTHING to support their bizarre conspiracies and pin their disaster on him. And of course distract from The Files and The War I guess.

  • In order of approachability:

    Man pages.

    Also Arch Wiki.

Also excellent books by NoStarch Press.

... Or did I miss a joke? Hehe

  • If it's really long, I use less , because it breaks it up into navigable pages instead of filling your entire buffer. :)

Never knew about just using < though! Cool!

  • I honestly appreciate your thoughtful reply to my really old comment. :D

It feels like largely Lemmy can be super ephemeral and nothing gets read after like a week lol.

    The A-12 is ultra cool!!

  • (clears throat in Zypper install)

    :p

  • The world needs more "tracker tunes" :D

  • I do like Mastodon as a platform, but it seems nobody really bothers to actually use it for communication. Just drop-posting updates on things with zero replies.

Maybe since it doesn't have all the addiction patterns or algos like other apps do? I'm really not sure.

I was considering going through the hassle of setting up a Mastodon server for me and my family and friends only but... something tells me I'd run into the same problem lol.

...People just seem too busy and tired and scattered on 15 different incompatible social apps and geographic locations to bother with each other anymore. :(

  • Username.... Hopefully doesn't check out!?!? 🫪
