  • I've thought about doing that very thing. I love me some beans, and only buy dried. It works if you've got a good day to day rhythm going. But if you don't have the time, or miss soaking them the night before it's all derailed.

  • I've used vlc since the stone ages. However recently (on mint) it's been opening two windows, one for the video and one for the player. Doesn't matter which boxes I click in the settings. Super annoying

  • Same also. I pretty much cut out beef. I eat mostly chicken now. But I've been expanding my vegetarian recipes, I go full veg a few days a week now.

  • Ya, I'm a city bus driver. And I can tell you with 100% confidence a large segment of the homeless population will absolutely wreak any space they're in. Pretending they won't has ruined so many nice public areas. Your naive AF if you think you can just sweep the majority of these people into an apartment and call it good. I'm not heartless, I do want these people taken care of. It's a complicated problem with no easy answers tho.
