  • After it got banned the first time it got unbanned after the drama with the promise of more transparency and communication from the LW team. Then some months later someone allegedly uninformed (was that a new admin or smth?) banned it again without transparency and communication causing another drama but this time they sticked with the ban for good. At least that's how I remember it going. If you dig into the old posts you will get a more accurate timeline.

  • That reminds me of how a few years back I wanted to keep a dream journal to learn lucid dreaming. One morning I got out of the bed writing down the dream(s?) I had in detail and was happy with how much I wrote down. Then some time later I woke up with my notes nowhere to be seen to find out that I wrote the notes in a fucking dream, fuck. I'm still disappointed about that. I don't even remember what the dream was about. I probably would remember if I had the notes. >:(

  • Hitting obscure issues with limited documentation and barely any forum discussions on it in search results is killing me though. But at the same time NixOS makes a lot of things incredibly easy and offloads having to remember any changes so it's worth all the effort for me.
