  • I was recently at a gas station that scanned my license plate and then started showing me ads telling me to upgrade to a newer model of my car, while showing me ads for those ewer models from a used car website. It felt incredibly invasive and I haven't been back to that gas station.

  • 30 years on the clarinet and 5 or so on the trumpet. I'm an average 2nd trumpet player but pretty good on the clarinet. There's nothing quite like nailing a big solo in front of a couple of hundred people. I love it.

  • Story points = hours just makes sense though. Even if your team doesn't do it, then everyone will do it in their head anyway. Especially management. But everyone will have a different formula so you start arguing about how many story points something is. Just do it in the open.
