  • I understand why, but I in no way agree or think it's good or acceptable. They're mainly an ad company, so giving users the option to filter out apps with things they earn money from doesn't make sense for them. It's shitty, but logical.

    There are third-party apps for the playstore, maybe one or several might have that option? Only one I know the name of just from memory is Aurora, check it out and see if it has those options.

  • I'm watching Outlander for the first time, just finished the first season and I can't fucking wait for Jonathan Randall to die (if he does). I haven't hated a character this much since Joffrey in GoT, and I feel even he wasn't as bad as Jonathan Randall. Tobias Menzies is seriously great at playing psychotic, disgusting and pathetic characters.

  • Nothing is stopping you from using more than one OS. Use NixOS for everything other than what you're having problems with. And not using it at all won't do anything to solve the problems, use it and try updated and new things every now and then, eventually it'll work.

  • One thing that's gotten a lot worse is the hate for everything, I've unsubscribed from several of my formerly favourite YouTube gaming channels because they've gotten more and more about just hating on everything. Every game that isn't perfect gets dragged through the dirt and people love it and join in. And comments anywhere on the web about any game are generally 80% hate and pessimism. And if you dare to say you like whatever game the topic is about you'll get down voted and told you're an idiot and/or shill.

  • I'm convinced Sriracha is different in different places. Obviously, different brands have varied heat but the classic one available worldwide is definitely hot, it's not extreme but definitely hot. I wouldn't call myself a hot sauce person either but I do enjoy hot foods and condiments, I'd say about average on heat sensitivity. I know several people who just can't have Sriracha because it's too hot for them, and it's easy to make something too hot with a lot of it IMO.
