The likelihood of noticeable genetic defects in offspring from an incestuous relationship is far less likely than most people think (unless there was a lot more incest in their ancestry). Cersei and Jaime Lannister having pretty and generally healthy kids is not that surprising. Pretty Targaryens are more tricky to justify but can be explained by magic and shit (I mean, they have purple eyes, as you do seem to be aware, judging from the pic, and can communicate with big lizards - it doesn't seem too far-fetched that they have some protection against genetic disorders).
Also, I actually can't think of prominent cases of incestuous offspring in fiction beyond ASoIaF, not enough to claim there is some pattern there, at least.

Idk, we reportedly have a bit of a shortage in Germany and my first thought was, "oh good, can't find enough Nazis, huh?" Which is of course polemical but there does seem to be an issue with Nazis being more likely to pursue a career in law enforcement.
Whose bag did ndupont take? Presumably their own but that's an additional mental step that Japanese native speakers do which isn't necessary when you have a pronoun in there indicating ownership. And even Japanese can do that in order to prevent this kind of ambiguity:
ndupont ha kare/kanojo no kaban wo totta.
ndupont took his/her bag.
Which of course still only tells you if ndupont took someone else's bag if the pronoun isn't ndupont's but it works in most cases.
To further decrease ambiguity you could do this:
ndupont ha jibun no kaban wo totta
ndupont took (his/her/their) own bag
So just because you can get through the day without pronouns most of the time and many languages do just that, they do doesn't mean they don't serve a purpose. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
