When your preferred candidate doesn't make it past the primary, that's normal. Don't throw away your most meaningful vote out of spite.

I don't know that it can delete, I've only ever used backspace, but you can swipe on backspace just like space to select and delete whole words/sections.

Then you're out the parking fee AND the contracted payment. I have to imagine one of those is significantly greater impact than the other.

I feel like gaming graphics goes in waves.

First you throw hardware at the problem (e.g., release a new console/graphics card/whatever), then you throw software at the problem (new tools and tricks to extract more value from the hardware). This is why end-of-generation games look better than start-of-generation, but then you jump for a new console.

For the past 5-10 years it feels like most game developers forgot about that second step of optimizing within the hardware bounds, instead just waiting for new hardware to bring improvements.

If there's any sort of silver lining on the AI hardware kerfuffle, now there's no real promise of big hardware refreshes just on the horizon, so who knows, maybe we're entering a golden era of software optimizations.

FWIW, touch works fine on Mint, and you can scale the UI up a bit to make it a little more touch friendly

My desktop has been running Linux for a while now, but I finally got tired enough with the repeated flops from Microslop™ that I switched my 6 year old Surface I use for surfing from the couch over to Mint.

Seems to be working for the American auto industry (for now).

Construction companies run pretty tight margins because it's an industry with a lot of competition. I'm sure they're not hurting, but the niche component suppliers are robbing the economy blind.

And a form of identification plastered on every piece of attire / equipment they own.

Realistically, they dont, but LG's PR team will probably give you a speil about updating firmware, bringing new content aware features to the screen, etc.

All bullshit so they can get more data from you.
