As a software developer I have never heard of anybody saying, "polllute my code as you like". It's mind-boggling how people will excuse ANY behavior that attacks AI or people who use it. Anything a fellow AI-hater does must be right. Our Cause Uber Alles!
No. Copypasting pieces of existing code has been standard practice for human programmers since the beginning of programming. Deciding to call it "plagiarism" because it's been automated is just ignorant.

Electronics and home automation - I used to do Arduino/ESP projects, but the room I have for doing this kind of stuff is so hopelessly cluttered with crap now, creating usable space to work in is a daunting project of its own.
Gradual character development is totally normal, just like acquaintances take a while to turn into friends and later turn into really good friends. But that doesn't devalue the good times you have with acquaintanaces. I enjoyed Parks & Rec and Trailer Park Boys right from the start, and then they both got better.
