That same feeling was pretty much everyday with him. Like I said, that's just one of the things he said.
I don't remember any of my classmates names. I remember the teacher absolutely would not allow him to call himself MotherFucker.
One kid tried being something between class clown and bully. So he kept laughing and calling him MotherFucker. To which the kid had no reaction. It would be like laughing and telling Steve that his name was Steve, and laughing again while Steve is confused because thats his name. That's how MotherFucker felt. Meanwhile the bully was trying to make the rest of the class laugh, but we didn't laugh. We just thought the bully was an asshole.
Another day on show and tell, we all brought our favorite toys. He brought a wood block with a face drawn in sharpie.
For my show and tell, I brought my favorite toy. The teenage mutant ninja turtles.
Everyone brought their favorite toys. When we saw what he had, everyone just had this awkward silence. The smart girl, who always got straight As stood up without being prompted, and gave him her science set. Then another kid....and another. I hated giving up my ninja turtles toys. I remember being furious with his dad that day. So I made him 2 cards. One for him, one for his dad. The card I gave to him was just me telling him how he's a good kid, and I'm happy to be his friend. I gave him both cards, and my 4 ninja turtles. Every kid gave him their favorite toys. It became one of the defining moments in my childhood that defined my outlook of sometimes needing to sacrifice a bit to help others. I was mad I had to give up my ninja turtles, but also look at him. He's got an abusive dad, a broken home life, and now his favorite toy is a block of scrap wood. How can I flaunt my ninja turtles when he has so little? I remember my 5 year old brain having that train of thought as I watched everyone go to him one by one and give their toys. I hated it, but I knew I had to also give him my toys. That may seem like nothing now. I'm 42, and giving some toys away seems like nothing. But at 5 years old I loved those toys. They were on equal footing with my family members in terms of how much I loved them. Because I was 5 years old, and everything at that age is more dramatic.
The card for his dad just said "FUCK YOU! MOTHERFUCKER!" and signed it. Then put it in an envelope I made on the spot from tape and a piece of paper. I wrote "DAD" on the envelope, and told him to give that one to his dad.
Later I got in trouble at school because his dad got mad that I made him a card. I remember telling the teacher "If I'm in detention for using that language, shouldn't (kid)'s dad be in detention too?
I think differently. It didn't register in my brain at that age that the dad can't be sent to detention. I thought of it in cause and effect terms.
Cause: I used forbidden language.
Effect: I get sent to detention.
Ok, so by that logic, shouldn't the dad also be in detention? Well no. The teacher said she can only send her students to detention.
Ok, so who punishes dad? Teacher says nobody can punish him.
Ok, so that means after I get out of school I'm free to do all the things I can't do now? What's the point?
I wasn't being sarcastic, or a smart ass. I was legitimately asking to understand how this works. So she called my dad, and my dad was mad at her more than me. I got out of detention because of that.
Oh, and also my dad bought me 4 more ninja turtles when he found out what happened.
If he pays, he still comes out 350k on top. I have no idea how Taiwan legal system works, but I assume lawyers aren't stupid expensive like they are in the usa.
This is why I just don't like humans. I'm not racist. I'm not sexist. I'm speciesist. I don't even know if that's a word, but fuck the humans. Just.....all the humans. It's always about power, and control, and taking from others. Then you get this shit where even the people who are at the bottom of the totem pole look down instead of up. Everyone thinks they and they alone are the most important person in the room.
That reminds me of when I was in kindergarten. Obviously cats aren't going to start repeating things you yell at them, but kids do.
The first day of kindergarten when we went around the room introducing ourselves, it was like this:
"Hi, I'm Amanda.
Hi, I'm Mike.
Hi I'm Julie.
Hi, I'm Shawna
Hi, I'm MotherFucker."
And everybody just stopped and looked at him. Like a record scratch moment stops. The teacher just started scolding him. He seemed perplexed. He genuinely didn't know what the issue was. Turns out, his dad never called him by name, and he was a very very sheltered kid. His dad would just yell things like "GET YER ASS DOWN HERE MOTHERFUCKER!"
His understanding was that his name was MotherFucker. Because that's what his dad called him, and he only ever really interacted with his dad. It was such a weird experience to deal with him. Because this is just one story of how his home life affected his outlook without him realizing that what he's saying is very very fucked up shit. I've never since seen an entire room be angry with pity all at the same person. He pissed off so many people, but we all had to remind ourselves it's not his fault. He's not being an asshole. He just exists in an assholes world.
Here's another thing you probably don't know. You can go take a bath, and then at the end of the bath don't drain the water. Instead, put the water into about 5000 small glass jars. Now set up an AI thing where you can create a consistent supply of pictures of the same AI model. Dress her like a stereotypical incel's idea of what a gamer girl looks like. Now sell the 5000 jars for $100 each as "Gamer Girl bath water". Except find a new name, because (and I'm not making this up), that name for that product is already trademarked and made 1 woman named Belle Delphine into a millionaire doing basically nothing.
I think the idea they're trying to get across is that he didn't kill these people. They were dead for close to 2 centuries before he started treating their remains like a funko-pop collection.
Still gross that he's collecting them at all, but I think the idea is to offer relief for those close to him that he wasn't actively killing.
I think we may just have a difference in perspective. I would call a buggy a car because it has wheels and carries passengers. I wouldn't call it an automobile, because that implies an automatic engine, but I would consider it a form of car.
Same with BBS/Internet. Once you have a series of servers interconnected, and have access to them via an ISP, yes. That is a form of early internet. It dates back to something like the 1960s. Going back to NASA and government usage.
So I think we're talking about the same thing with just a difference of perspective and opinion.
Back in 2024 some leaked plans for something called "project 2025" were leaked. Everything (with the exception of renaming a lake) that is happening right now, was on that list. They WANT food to be tainted. They WANT people to die from preventable disease like the measles (so far I've heard of 3 children dying from it), they WANT ICE to kidnap and kill legal citizens. They WANT housing prices to become unaffordable.
None of what is happening now is a mistake. None of this is a coincidence. The suffering is the point. They aren't choosing to focus on this lake INSTEAD of those other things. They ARE focusing all the things you mentioned. It's just that this environment that they've created is what they consider success. This is the same president that in 2020 intentionally prolonged the covid virus because his mentality was that it would kill more people in cities than in rural areas. Which would mean more democrat voters die than republican voters. HE INTENTIONALLY SET OUT TO KILL AMERICANS!!! HE'S CURRENTLY IN ANOTHER UNRELATED PLAN TO KILL AMERICANS!!! THIS IS THE PLAN!!!
I'm sorry for yelling, but this idea that the republicans are just a bunch of bumbling idiots who are failing infuriates me, because it allows them to KEEP FUCKING DOING IT!!! Just as they have for the last 10 years.
I've been saying this for years. Look at taxi's. In my city in 2005 there were 8 major taxi companies. Each with hundreds of drivers on the road at any given time. Now we have 2 of those 8 remaining, and they're essentially shell companies with 2-3 drivers on the road. The last 4 times I've tried ordering a cab the traditional way, I've been told there's no drivers available. Now it's all Uber. And Lyft. You can't call them. You need a cell phone, and you need internet access.
All the major corporations are in agreement that we all need cell phones, and we all need to be tracked 24/7. And now with AI, they're getting their data straight from the source. There are men out there who talk to an AI girlfriend. Not sexy stuff. I mean imagine sitting at the dinner table, and discussing your day.....with your AI girlfriend. Meanwhile, ALL that data is going straight to the companies that host the AI.
Another side effect is that AI will make people dumber. In case you haven't noticed since the 1970s, there has been a GOP push to make the citizens dumber and dumber. Easier to control. Easier to fool. Easier to get away with things.
So now you got ram being sold for computers that haven't been built yet, to be put in data centers that haven't been built yet, to run an AI system that isn't functional yet, in order to steal the jobs of employees that can't be replaced yet, all in an effort to chase profits that were never possible in the first place since everyone hates AI.
You wanna see some shit go down? Tell the companies we'll use their AI if they get the unredacted epstein files released. See how fast they bribe the right people then.
Now tell the politicians we'll stop caring about the epstein files if they forcibly ban all data centers in the country. See how fast they act on that.
Now we sit back, wait, and watch the fireworks. Oh, and by the way, we're going back on our word either way. Whomever wins, fuck em.
Or never had one, and are just checking one thing. Then twitter says you need an account to view. So you use these alternate viewing sites. I did that a few times.
They'd lose if it were a local position within Idaho. Those same people who didn't wear masks, refuse to vaccinate, refuses care for their child? All those same people are the same people VOTING.
It would be different if it weren't an election in the most brain dead state.
Yeah, it's impressive to find a new low BELOW Florida. At least Florida knows how to pull in tourists. Who the fuck wants to willingly go to Idaho???
