My point is that Florida could use solar as 1 prong on the challenge to provide clean, green energy but FPL must deliver profit to it's shareholders and will fight that effort
Hell. In Florida, FPL is the electric provider, and they are fighting tooth and nail to keep people from installing solar on houses.... In Florida, we would have almost free electric for everyone if all houses could install panels....
But FPL lobbied our GOP legislature and force anyone with solar to have a million dollar insurance policy payable to FPL in case something happens. Also got regulations passed to bar home windstorm insurance if any panels are bolted to the roof. So if you have panels, no hurricane insurance for you....and the mortgage holder gets to put their expensive policy on your home.
Not just phone makers, but the telecom companies. Even if your phone shares no location data, it still checks in with a cell tower constantly. As you move around, so does your registration at a tower. It's accurate to about 2 miles. Match that with your known home address or work address and your location is easily guessed
You could always just get the entire list of AWS public ranges and use that to identify interesting traffic.... Of course that would vpn all AWS stuff.
If you have a list of domains, you could schedule a script to resolve each to IPs and rebuild your VPN definition every night.
Any company that gives into this only invite more demands from the same players who know companies will fold and do what is demanded. There's no end to it.
If I could retire now I would. But living in the US is expensive and gets more expensive every year. From real estate taxes or rent, from insurance, from cost of food, from basic utilities like electric, heat, gas... Neverind if you want a hobby, or a vacation, or Any leisure activities.....
Every time I leave my house it costs me $100 no matter what I am doing.

These vaccines are the pinnacle of health care research and most were given away for free by those who discovered them.... They gave away millions in potential licensing fees for the greater good of humanity.... Now that gift is being spit up on by people who have no idea what they are talking about.
This shutdown would come to a stop if GOP would just agreetoo restore healthcare funding....not even increase it, just put it back where it was.
