    Its gotten me out of an armed store robbery, 2 ither street level robberies, 2 houses that just didnt feel right, multiple encounters with dangerous animals ( gators and 1 panther).

    In the 90s youd go to the record store that had a ticket kiosk. Tickets were 10 to 20 dollars, youd get a printed ticket.

    Now it just sucks. Venues add fees, ticketmaster fees double the price, printing fees, sometimes you cant even get the digital ticket until the day of and hope nithing goes wrong.

    It all just sucks now.

    I go down to my local dive bar and watch some local guys play rock and blues....for tips.

  • I do volunteer work for nonprofits. Its amazing that normal people think we are swimming in cash.... newsflash, we are not.

    The IT budget is nothing so alot of what i do is setup open source stuff to meet needs...think libreoffice erc.

    External storage for large backups is not on the table. And no one wants the reaponsibilty of shuffling external backup drives to and from.

  • Ill argue that the whole purpose of this tax structure is get houses into the available pool of property for regular folks to buy. Think of the needs of the many vs a 2 week vacation for you which you could still take in a hotel or a company that does vacation rentals somehow.

  • This was always my opinion. Any home thats not your primary residense is taxed at 300% going rate. Makes owning multiple homes for renting too expensive.
