  • I suggest installing something like e/os which is phone without google and tracking. You somehow have to make sure that the hardware itself does not communicate outside but at least with a secure OS you are introducing the security issues by installing WhatsApp for workI know that e/os is based on another degoogled os but i forgot the name

    And you can put it on an up to ~8 year old phone so its good for the environment too

    CasaOS is not an operating system and more like a GUI for Docker with access to the terminal via said GUI (at least thats how i used it)I personally think thats a very good option if you simply want to use an old PC to host stuff and test around but its limited in its scope so if you want things like RAID you need other or additional solutions

    TrueNAS is an operating system Might be overkill for a newbie and i think it was ressource intensive but offers a lot of features in return like RAID

    Cant really say more because i did not visit the websites recently

  • I often use proton for junk mails as it does not require phone or something and a lot of services accept it compared to the normal trash mail services.

    Another thing i do is searching for the sender of annoying mails, mark like 10 of them and mark them as spam, then the next ones get dumped too

  • i can make some weird sounds that sounds like suffering by closing my nose and then try to "breath out the closed nose and then opening something at the throat"Dont use it often because it actually hurts, even more without training.But i never met someone who can do it too

  • my original point was more that atProto maybe was inspired by the "decentralized distribution of data" that p2p has

    In my brain i somehow got the idea that anyone could theoretically access the data without going through bsky and trying to write my guess down i somehow got spun up on that paragraph
