    I couldn’t make sense of it at the time – he was handed a way to prevent trump running again on a silver platter, and there didn’t seem to be a reason not to since he was already on the way out.

  • Democracy is weak against fascism. That’s a lot of our current problem, and why democracies slip into fascism whilst moving towards socialism is harder.

    There are ways to fix that, but they require an educated populace. And that’s why fascists work so hard to keep us misinformed.

    Maybe her net worth has finally exceeded her values, so she’s finding something like a conscience and isn’t moneyed enough* for that to really factor in? She’s very, very new money, and likely can’t really imagine what that means? People are likely trying to tell her.
