  • The controls/gameplay was amazing in both Outcast/Academy, it nearly ruined KOTOR for me if it wasn't for the story being so good there. Academy to me was just to short. I remember beating it in one sit down.... Like 20 times. Then again I was a kid who had the time to spend 5 hours playing a game, now I'm sure it would take me days to beat.

  • I kind of enjoyed the getting used to the weapons part. Probably the first game I had to use so many buttons for. 1-9 were guns, f1-f8 force powers, by the time I got to Jedi Academy having mouse buttons 4 & 5 mapped to specific force powers was a necessity

  • So much for a blue milk run

  • We attacked Florida and demanded that they don't cut off traffic to Alabama through the Gulf of Mexico. Except it isn't nearly that wide, it's 35x smaller

  • Innocents killed vs dollars made, what a world to live in.

Also is that not an admission that all countries should sanction the U.S. now... It should be

  • I remember a Steven Segal joke about this, can't remember where

  • Never met the woman but this feels like a comment copy and pasted from a trove of remarks showing just how sexist an online community is.

Her actions and comments can speak for her not being a good person without us making allegations about her sex life.

  • Someone trying to sell you a job, that's interesting. I wonder if they do that at certain times of the year places. I imagine you need a lot more Uber drivers in specific areas for events. Like if Comicon is happening, you suddenly have hundreds of thousands of people coming to the area that will spike the number of people needing rides. I assume the same happens with the Superbowl, Mardi Gras, soon to be the World Cup, etc.

  • I don't even know what regulations they are skirting. You can't just sign up to become a driver without submitting information just like any other job. Background checks are required, licenses and what not. People are also supposed to leave feedback if they had a bad experience so I could only imagine that the complaints are surrounding the idea that Uber isn't following up on the feedback enough. That said if 500 people ride with that driver and rate them well, and 1 person says they were a perv, and Uber looks at it and finds that person has called several male drivers pervs while they get good ratings from everyone else, there could be a problem that those people have a type, or Uber could be thinking the issue is the rider at that point

  • So the oil is drilled in the U.S., refined in the U.S., and shipped in the U.S., but the prices changed because there are shortages elsewhere. Hmm. Sounds like all those people who wanted "America first" should be sueing the fuck out of the oil companies.

  • It's hard to say what tweets count as. The White House has said they are official messages at times, and Musk was held legally required to purchase a company because of his statements made on the platform. At one point I believe they were all being archived to the library of Congress, not sure if they are anymore. Then again I believe Trump's are on his site, so who knows

  • Well the way I view it is it's all useless. If a 10 year old goes to buy a phone, they can't do so without getting money from an adult who therefore approved of it. If a 15 year old buys a cell phone they can't.... Because they need an adult to have a credit card/bank that allows monthly payments. Only offered to an adult. If you are a minor you can only get one with an adults co-sign. Thus the idea that a child has access to the Internet without an adults consent is just untrue 99.9 percent of the time. schools monitor the traffic . So every situation comes down to negligence on the parent. Who will sign their account in, or their credit card on the kids phone... bypassing all reason for the laws

  • I hate the idea of age checks, but OS is the next best thing if they don't share the information beyond. In truth it is pointless other than tracking people.

  • damn, I knew there was an alterior motive to the knee pads, no one liked those things.

  • Yeah meanwhile I was over in the corner trying to figure out how all my laces are tangled in the Velcro of my roller blades. I swear whoever designed Velcro and laces to exist on the same contraption was just trying to be a dick

  • Yo we almost there

So many pedestrians would be in trouble come Manhattan. The roads just not big enough for 5 of them

  • I vote we give him 5 licenses and start cloning him.

  • I have to deduct a merit for myself, as I now see I spelled meritable with a typo.

  • Honestly I find it worse if I say sir or ma'am or such and someone gets upset. "My mother was ma'am don't call me that!"
