    A. Strike the engines, where civilains are working

    B. The cockpit, where civilians are working

    C. Cargo, which in this case is oil, then goes where, into the water and kills everything?

    Seems like a "military target" where only innoncents are hurt. Then again; I guess that's all war.

    That said, as far as I knew a fully AI created work couldn't be copyrighted, but that doesn't mean someone who uses AI to make something and sell it can be used legally without purchasing it. I assume you probably could even make a copyrighted work that you used AI to make, so long as it wasn't fully AI created

  • Well see that's the thing about patent/copyright/trademark/etc laws that don't make sense to me. If it's illegal to copy someone's idea and sell it as your own how is it viable to ask AI to do something where it pulls all of the data from someone else's work and gives it to you and you sell it as your own. (Or use it to make something you sell) In general it would make sense that you would have to pay the person who's idea it was you used for each sale... Or that no one can own any idea, and patents/copyrights shouldn't exist at all.

  • Nah I had to look him up, I wasnt from Illinois. But it appears he was a Democrat trying to sell a the Senate seat, Illinois impeached him, the feds then convicted him to 14 years prison, where he sat until 2020 and Trump cummuted his sentence do to him supporting Trump's campaign. Thn when Trump got into office in 2025, pardoned the previous convictions once again for supporting him.

    Apparently Blagojevich described himself as a Trumpocrat.

    Possibly worth noting Blagojevich appeared on Celebrity Apprentice with Trump.

    So he attempted to sell a Senate seat to anyone for money or employment, and he became employed with the next president who commuted and pardoned his convictions of trying to sell the Senate seat.

  • Yeah the idea was so bad Apple stopped developing future Apple Vision products and pivoted to release an affordable alternative.

    This thread seems to have a whole lot of hopefulness and not much actual data they are going off. If Apple actually launches a good usable pair for a decent price, it will all become "I wish manufacturers never made these" and people yelling pervert at someone on the street will result in them getting sued/arrested/baker acted.

    It's been 12 years since glass went public, I have to imagine someone figured out decent ways to work the upgrades in hardware since into them.

  • Dont know the breakdown of deaf people, but some people are also helped by all these ear/head sets that use reverberations on the bone.

    The type of hearing loss would depict whether or not they can be used. (Basically if the internal ear still functions, reverb works, if outside and inside doesn't work, it won't help)

  • A quick search showed 46 states allow a temp placement by the government, 4 states don't. Kentucky, North Dakota, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.

    Kentucky being the state that people were just wondering of McConnell had died.

  • I assume they were thinking of Jefferson, but he would have been more of an agnostic (maybe). He just thought the virgin birth was bullshit, Jesus was some guy, and the point was to believe in caring for others basically. Apparently he just took all the miracles out and said, people should treat people better.

    Which honestly sounds like a much less toxic version of beliefs. (But I'm sure that's been white washed or rose tinted or what not over the years)

    Many of the successful pirates like Bart Roberts had rules about rape.

    Every crew had their own rules, but if you want to make a list of bad things pirates did you might want to put slavery at the top. Think there was more pirates that stole slaves and resold them then there were murdering people without reason.

  • No one, and the city has not asked them too. When someone puts up a sign by the road that says "Slow Children" they don't pay the city for it, and most people do NOT own the land between the sidewalk and the road, they just mow/maintain it out of moral obligation.

    The city decided not to renew the contract, they need to make another action to ensure their removal, or construct a law about them for them to actually be "illegal".

  • I mean if we are being real they voted to not pay to renew the contract, and people checked to see if they were still there when the the contract ended.

    No where was it mentioned the date the cameras were required to be removed by, nor what would happen with them.

    A good comparative we have seen in the U.S. would be direct tv. If you cancel the service and the contract ended on June 29th, Direct Tv doesn't come out and remove the dish from your roof that day, they leave it there and it's your problem.

    Cleveland likely needs to start a lawsuit against the company for leaving their products on their property and if they aren't removed by a set "reasonable" date schedule someone from the city to remove them.

    Really I'm sure flock is just hoping to get them to pass a separate contract so they don't have to move them to another city

  • I still use jerboa quite often but have been considering moving. It worked well for a couple years but the last month or two there are stupid things like, not being able to scroll back up through the comments where it'll get stuck, or if I collapse a comment, and try to reopen it the content is blank so I have to exit the comment section and reopen to be able to the top of the comment section and start over. If it is a long comment thread you then have to scroll slow because if you miss the comment you collapsed by accident you can't scroll back up to find it because the first problem. At that point I just give up on that and move on.

    I made a post about it in the jerboa thread a month ago, it appears to be happening to more than just me, and across multiple devices, even someone on graphene said it was happening to them.
