  • Yeah, it's a rediculous set up. Had it happen to a friend, he was parked in the apartment complex lot. Didn't want to chance driving home after dropping off his friend and realizing he should just sleep it off. I guess next time he knows to just go sleep at his friends, but what a way to impact your life so badly

  • She didn't have cancer, she had hair loss. It isn't something to "make fun of someone for" but the scientific term they tried to use at the time to make it sound like it was some horrific disease (alopecia) is the same name used for male pattern baldness.

    People would be bitch slapping people daily if it was considered a normal response. Would it teach people to not make fun of others, maybe... Or it would just end in more violence

  • I mean, they voted to cut health care from people, increase their own health care premiums, raise taxes on all foreign goods, destroy the exports of goods like soybeans, cut funding from schools/teachers, and make sure taxes stay low for the billionaires.

    What did they want in return? Nothing. They didn't ask for better health care even though they are going to pay more, they didn't demand lower prices on goods that would be local, and no promises were made to subsidize local businesses to ensure they could start manufacturing such products to equalize the prices anytime in the next umpteen years.

    I don't get it, they voted to pay more, to give it to billionaires faster, with 0 plan on how the middle class will ever grow back.

    Small businesses will all die out, and they'll give it all to oligarchs.. for nothing in return

  • The only real times where I have to stop and think is when plugging in the case components (like the power button). But many a times have I seen people put a heat sink on a processor with no thermal paste, thankfully sellers have gotten better with packaging to make it obvious so people don't get hundreds of dollars of components now.

Uhh well they just said it was Democrats fault.

    When every mother father sister brother friend coworker and aquantience is getting fed lies 24 hours a day intentionally made to make you hate specific groups of people, "They're raping the dogs!" It gets to the point you don't have to believe everything is true, you just know you can't ever vote for Democrat.

    People start to believe things and eat up the lies on accident. A good example is Nancy Pelosi. She has some shit policies and views, but anyone who has ever stated she was involved in insider trading has been a MAGA supporter. Every one. There have never been any evidence that she was involved in insider trading, and people have looked for near 2 decades now, but guess what, people who don't like the way our capitalistic system works, are prone to want to hate or dislike rich people, so they want to believe it's true, and they do. And they spread that misinformation far and wide helping support MAGA. Most didn't do it intentionally, but that's the end result, building support to mistrust and hate anyone left of MAGA. So when the option was MAGA or anyone left of MAGA, a good chunk of people said.. well I guess MAGA isn't that bad.

  • Yeah I remember that, saying 42 is the answer to everything was what I called nonsense, as I could just as easily say 42 meaning everything is is the product you get from, 6 7 (meaning nothing). Poof, now everything is a multiple of nothing, and at the end of the day none of it made any sense or had any meaning

  • What did 23 mean? I thought the post was pointing out it meant nothing? 69 is a position, 420 smoke weed, boobs, 42 was a nonsense joke that meant nothing as well. They just defined it as the meaning of life for no reason from what I know.. so 23, and 67 seem about the same, running closely behind 42

  • Yeah, in anger it is easy to jump to dehumanizing others, but that's why I think it is good to have others around that can tell them to take a breath and re-consider the consequences when we have a fresh mind.

    I'm terrible at it, but thankfully I've got others around in life and on here to tell me pull my head out of my ass when I get to over the top

    Because I am seeing it as classifying millions of innocent people who didn't vote for Trump, or weren't even old enough to vote yet, and saying they should catch stray bullets because people they could not control chose something dangerously incompetent.

  • Or you could say 37% of Kentucky voted for Trump, and this small town of 478 people will likely all be forced to move and sell their homes for pennies on the dollar, to someone who will sell them back to others in a year at full price with insider information on whether they will actually reopen and offer jobs.

    Else the town is dead and everyone suffers and we are celebrating people being fucked over while we think we are better than them for what? Because we are just shit people as well
