  • He wrote at least two beautiful songs about her. Seriously the whole saga of both of those men being in love with Patty Boyd was heartbreaking on Eric Clapton's end, Patty Boyd really did shatter his heart, maybe he was already a shitty person, I don't know but having your heart broken probably wouldn't make things any better.

  • Patti Boyd did go back & forth between Eric Clapton & George Harrison. Tragically by the time she finally settled for Eric Clapton, it was too late & he ended up treating her like trash just the way she'd treated him like trash all those years he longed for her.

  • Yesterday I saw a man with his 5-year-old son out for a bike ride on the beach boardwalk. That little tiny boy was confidently adeptly riding his little bike balancing on two wheels like a full-on pro. I hope your kids get enough time away from the screen to enjoy life with skills like that too.

  • Okay now that we solved that mystery, can anybody figure out why some . world moderators are removing my posts & comments and their reason is that I belong to .world?? How does that make sense? My only guess is that I feel like I am being discriminated against because maybe they don't like me for one reason or another, and they're making up specious nonsensical reasons for deleting my things.

  • Why did you block . world if they've been treating you all right?

    I'm sincerely curious for a few reasons

    first of all .world is the only instance that would let me in after I tried multiple times joining numerous other instances that would just buffer forever when I was trying to register and they never sent me confirmation emails, .world was the only one that would let me in.

    But now when I make posts and comments in .world communities, moderators have been removing my posts & comments, they say because I belong to.world 🤯

    Please make this make sense.

    And look, here we are in a .world community. Let's see how long the moderators let this comment of mine remain 🙄

  • I imagine with our current medical technology, patients could be given an ultrasound or something to determine what is in their stomach and intestines before surgery, but I see why it would be less expensive and more straightforward to simply trust the patient and ask them. It's their own life on the line after all. But maybe some patients don't fully understand the dangers of having food in their digestive system when going under anesthesia.

  • How many super glues do you use for a repair? Do you play on an astroturfs field? Are people carrying maces in their bag for self-defence? Do you eat Jell-Os and burn kerosenes?

    All but one of those examples you mentioned are liquid, so they kinda don't fit into this question 🤷🏼‍♀️ because we would say "a bottle of glue" or "a can of Mace" or "a bowl of jello" or "a can of kerosene." I don't even want to contemplate AstroTurf /astroturfs, it bugs me 🤣

    I think the Lego/Legos debate is similar to the GIF/"JIF" debate.

    One just seems intuitively correct tothe majority of people without overthinking it, and the other sounds & feels wrong.
