This study argues the exact opposite of what you’re saying and is generally accepted as evidence that most of what you just stated is a mix conjecture, exaggeration and misconception. Do you have reference for the evidence that says they’d go extinct?
This study actually claims the opposite but it’s just the first one I found. It’s from 2021 so I’ll report back if I find anything more recent. Or counter to this
Yeah searching “giant panda color patterning heat regulation” only seems to turn up articles and studies that show that the patterning is actually for camouflage…
Also don’t pandas reproduce just fine in the wild given the right habitat? And the real issue is human encroaching and destruction of said habitat? So really shouldn’t the panda be saying “I’m alive despite you fuckers keep destroying where I fucking live.”?

Eh I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the result of apathy is the same as actual endorsement. I just feel you have lost too much solid ground because of a lack of participation that you are simply no longer considered in the sea of opinions/needs. But semantics aside, we agree.
Do you just not understand how numbers work? Of the number of people who showed up to be counted, ie the ones invested enough to still give a fuck one way or another, more people voted for this than against it. That may not necessarily reflect the sentiments or ideology of the entire population. But if they wanted to be counted then they should have shown the fuck up. Bitch all you want about tyrants and tyranny because it’s fucking here. But stop kidding yourself that these people are still real underdogs in the grand scheme. Their ideology and dumbfuckitude is absolutely gaining ground and pretending it isn’t just adds another blind spot to be exploited.
Look at those cultures celebrating something they hold important for no other reason that it brings them joy and a sense of community, idiots.
Like sure it’s been co-opted and commercialized but this attitude of ‘axshually celebrating new years is stupid for these logical reasons’ is really tiresome. Especially in a community that’s supposed to lift people and cultures up not make fun of them for what makes them happy.
