  • That's amazing. Animals can be so silly. My mare is very desensitized to me being a goofball around her, but if I approach her wearing a hood, she'll flip out. She almost kicked my ass a couple months ago when I went into her stall with my parka hood up. As soon as I took it off she settled.

  • I def have other reasons and if he's a total ass or decides to just bounce, there's other folks I can see. There's also LOADS of artists selling things, so I'll have fun regardless. One my best friends that I don't see irl very often is making the 2 hr trip to go with me and some other friends as well

  • There are sooooo many cats. Odin, unfortunately, passed over the winter. Quite a few of the cats did. The farm is old school, so the barn cats get rabies shots and food is left out during cold and rainy days,, but other than that, they're left to their own devices.

  • Thank you! There are like 10 barn cats and at least one of them acts as my helper. There was a single kitten born about a month ago and I asked him if he will be my helper when he gets bigger and he screamed at me. Every time I interact with him he screams at me. I don't think he wants to be my buddy

  • I went to a no kings protest in my very red, very rural area and there were hundreds of people. I expected like a dozen of us. Protestors filled the area on the side of the street we started on and people had to start filling in the other. We got nothing but honks of support and cheers from passing cars. It was such an amazing turnout and it was such a great experience.

  • I've been really passionate about space. My bday is on the anniversary of the moon landing, and my one aunt has always reminded me of the fact. My great grandfather worked for NASA and my aunt gave me his stargazing binoculars that his brother gave him when he got hired at NASA. That part of my family instilled a huge love of science in me, esp space stuff. I wanna go to space more than anything, but I don't have the brains or constitution to be an astronaut. So I just daydream, stargaze, and write poems about the cosmos.

  • I wish every user was as good as you. The best users that I've encountered are my immediate family. I've trained them up over years and when they need my help, it's not a nightmare lol

  • People are really fucking stupid. I work in IT. I'm a helpdesk tech at an MSP, and I see profound idiocy all day every day. People have no critical thinking skill and seem proud of the fact they don't know shit about anything. People young and old say they're tech illiterate like it's a good thing.
