Just look at console vs PC gaming.
Steamdeck made Linux gaming mainstream because it's brainless. Backed by proton.
But console has a vice grip on some communities / groups due to a long standing "plug and play" sales pitch. Now they're stuck because "my friends are there."
My brother-in-law is a sysadmin and stuck on Playstation due to his friends. Doesn't even own a gaming PC because "he doesn't have the time to tinker."
The owning class is doing everything possible to push AI into everything. All towards cutting costs towards profits by ultimately cutting out all human elements possible from **everything. ** Meaning not paying people less, but removing those jobs entirely.
I was a massive SIMS2 player. When Sims3 came out and my dude walked away from the wall with the phone and sat on the couch I flipped my shit. Finally can increase social workout comfort going to hell. Haha
