Politics and economics are things that have the most negative direct impact on my life, it took me 15 years to immigrate to somewhere somewhat better and 10 of those were also spent fighting for healthcare while fighting landlords, shitty bosses and other assorted bastards while under assault from right-wingers day in day out in all mainstream media, always on the edge of deportation and death, so much time wasted in my early 20s.
Coming to terms with death being in all likelihood the very near future when you've just had a taste of life for the first time is an indescribable feeling.
Otherwise I have zero regrets, I've unironically never made any bad decisions even in hindsight and I make far more privileged people than myself jealous with what I've managed to make of my situation, including maybe the guy who downvoted this and the person above?

Old Gnome2-era themes will always win out imo. I tried looking for neat Plasma themes but a lot of em are just very basic colour swaps, nothing out there

I use Windows 10 on my main PC for media/flight/race/milsimming with an Aero skin that gets pretty darn close, without using WindowBlinds, using SecureUxTheme tool, cracked StartIsBack and some theme I got off the Frutiger Aero subreddit, looks great with WACUP, 8Gadgets, Aerochat and some Windhawk mods like the old Win7 Taskbar Clock (instead of the W10 XAML one)
A custom bash script will do the job then. You might not want to use docker though as that adds a lot of complexity when it comes to communicating back to/from the host.
Doesn't really keep to your requirements but check out cockpit. It monitors CPU/memory/disk/network of the host it's on, it can monitor KVM virtual machines, it's not docker afaik but simple to set up, uses your Linux login, has a terminal you can use straight in the web UI to get whatever info you're missing, it uses pmcp and pmlogger for all the info so the number of processes and ports is fairly low.

I just don't have insane hivemind opinions, but relatively reasonable ones and voicing any of that (Ukraine right to self-defense, gender dysphoria is a medical disorder treated by transition - not a choice, AI can be useful etc etc.) seems to be a big no-no on some parts of Lemmy.
