    Gut, viel davon ist sicher Parterhetorik. Aber so groß ist der ideologische Unterschied zwischen Trump und seinen Silicon-Valley-Milliadären und Putin und seinen Gas-Oligarchen auch nicht.

    Abgesehen davon ist die AfD eben auch kein homogener Block. Dass sich manche mit Musk und Maga und andere wieder mit Medwedjew treffen, ist nicht unmöglich.

  • If you can go with multiple names, I do like my parents' reasoning: pick one interesting/local name that we like, and one that works in many cultures/languages. Something like Pierre Henry.

  • My alcohol and caffeine history is pretty typical, grew out of drinking and found a reasonable relationship with coffee and tea.

    Now weed gives me hangovers and the potential for bad trips. I have never been a regular stoner, and I am considering limiting myself even further (every few months). Psychedelics even less, but that kind of comes by design, if you are a responsible person.

    There is no way in hell that I am touching opiates or amphetamines for recreation. I know I am someone who enjoys drugs, and I don't know if I had the willpower to stop if I start.

    All in all, quite happy with the status quo. Everything in moderation, even the moderation.

  • That is one definition of vegan, and you seem to be happy living by it. But others might have other definitions. A good chunk does not even share your motivation for being vegan, there are plenty of religious practices, dietary reasons, ecological concerns... That doesn't diminish your definition of it, but that is something to keep in mind when talking about other people.

    2. AI can make horrifying mistakes and still on average do its intended purpose. If you catch 90% murderers and 10% innocents, that is apparently good enough for quite a few governments.
