Sometimes libraries have book clubs, where people regularly meet up to - chapter by chapter or book by book - discuss the book. Those can be amazing communities. And you immediately share something meaningul (the book). Maybe see if your local library has one?
But is the sugar of broken down (caramelized) onions the same sugar? As in, would the jar with sugar next to my meal to show me how much sugar I'm eating fill up as the onions caramelize?
Capitalism is not just echange of goods and services for monetary reward. Its also the separation of labour from the means of production, the ensuing necessity of labour to sell their labour for a wage, and their ability to spend that wage freely at an open market.
