  • Oh my, this might become my new fave timesaver since laughing out loud became lol. :D

  • Can you do that with all potatoes? My parents gave me the impression that some kinds of potatoes need to be peeled before consumption

  • Most loved? My knife. It's a good knife. It can dice strawberries, it can peel potatoes, it can cut tomatoes.

I am personaly not a fan of kitchen gadgets. Many of them are less versatile reinventions of knifes. Nothing wrong with using them, but I am not the target audience, me thinks. :)

Fuck... I just realized my potato peeler is likely one of these less versatile reinventions of a knive. sigh I got got.

  • We will barf tribbles on your favourite rug

  • We are meow. You will feed us. Do not resist.

  • 🫂

  • It is underrated, and I'd love to see more people knowing about alternatives to big tech companies and services, I also hope it never happens. Reddit is full of annoying, rude trolls and dipshits. I am glad Lemmy has a pretty polite userbase.

  • As a German who is single: With 2000$ I could afford my own place, groceries, clothes and still have a couple hundred bucks to spend on fun stuff. It is a lot of money in my opinion.

  • I'll save your comment, and maybe once I feel like giving it a shot again, I can reference this later :)

  • Not for a lack of trying

  • No way, that's the original dialogue?!

Should I not have abandoned TOS for the extreme sexism in the pilot and 1st ep? No. It must be the children who are wrong.

(Honestly tho, I don't think I could sit through it if it keeps going like this)

  • I wasn't asked but I have a very passionate opinion on them. So if you'll allow:

The way they're utilized in Germany fucking sucks. It was advertised as a "last leg of the road" kinda vehicle. And where are they overproporionatly available? In cities.

Where do you have good infrastructure and public transport? In. Fucking. Cities.

Meanwhile people who really really need a way to get around in rural areas remain to be dependent largely on cars. There usually are busses driving to villages, but only few a day.

They use resources such as batteries that I'd rather have used for other e-vehicles. In the beginnig they caused new low pay/exploitative jobs: juicers, i.e. the people who collected the scooters and recharchged them at their home.

And lastly the users. Thet zip through pedestrian zones at ridiculous speeds, drive on busy streets, park them in the middle of the walkway or throw them into nature.

I hate them and they have shown very little upsides imo.

The only thing I can think of was my buddy getting home after we hung out faster at night.

  • Well clearly the coorporation for shipping faulty/incomplete softw... Huh what's this green stack of paper?

Sorry, I lost my train of thought. What were we talking about?

  • Modern day AI models? Nononononononono

  • Not yet :3 Let's talk linux once you're done with your fursuit :P

  • Jimmy Fallon? Yeah I know that guy

  • Which sites did you use?

  • Yeah cheese for breakfast is quite normal

  • It is common in Germany to put cheese on bread. Or do you mean he ate just cheese?
