It was in a street of apparentment buildings and I didn't even walk towards any particular entrance at that point. Besides, the guys were idiots trying and failing to make themselves seem scary. I was high as a kite, barely standing and I still fought them off when they got close.

In my native Czech we use plural when addressing strangers or people with a higher standing. Singular pronouns are a lot more informal, used betwen friends and family. French and German have something similar.
Actually, English does the same, except the uncouth singular has been dropped and now the formal address is the only choice. The informal, singular version of "you" is "thou".
I like mapping for the rhythm shooter Pistol Whip. While working on a map, I have that song stuck in my head the whole time, but as soon as I publish it it's gone.
I've found that it works on songs that get stuck there by other means, so if I want to get rid of one, I make a map with it.
